I liked the Patience from Towns on that one. It will get better. That showed manipulation not just setting a pick and running.

needs to work on making good contact with his screens. brunson was working with randle, ihart, mitch who are all pretty good screen setters. noticed towns slipping early or not getting good contact on the screen so it isn't really giving brunson any extra room to operate

This game he looks like he’s not trying. First 4 games he was setting solid picks. Val made it his duty to play stronger after Towns made him a non factor last game.

yeah he'll be alright. he's a high IQ guy that usually bodes well for recovering from cold spells

Towns in drop coverage is just a disaster. Thibs might need to take a play from Finch from a few years ago when he had Towns blitzing on the pick and rolls. It was successful because guys like Vanderbilt were so good at rotating over to help so with our wings we have even more defensive versatility for that to work. But yeah this current defensive scheme is not going to work, it’s not even working against the Wizards so I can imagine what the elite teams will do

yeah he'll be alright. he's a high IQ guy that usually bodes well for recovering from cold spells

He is a solid defender, too. So while he might go cold he can still be impactful. That shot is concerning though

He has to do only a few things to help a lot. He’ll def be tested and never thought he was a 1B. I think it could go either way but it’s sports. There are no locks with 3 picks or 6 picks.

We gave up a star package for a great role player. If his shot is broken it goes from a bad trade to a horrible trade.
