I don't think its all inflation because the vast majority of people did not see raises in salary on par with this. There has definitely been a transfer of wealth from everyone else to the extremely wealthy and the only reason we notice it with NBA players is there union was able to negotiate that they get about half of all earnings.

What we're seeing is the rich becoming extremely wealthy and the wealthy becoming oligarchs.

With all these new contracts being signed, OG looks like a bargain fr. At first, 40m for OG seemed like a lot, but I chalked it up to having to pay him. Now that Suggs just got 30m a year...

Also, it seems Randle would cost like 45m a year easily.
