Randle is gone and he needs to either get over it or go join the Wolves board.

There's plenty of blame to go around this game but it's more about being realistic. And trying to pin it all on KAT is a typical Standle move.

The Celtics have consistently blown the Knicks out over the past year. An entirely new team with no chemistry wasn't waltzing into their home on the night that they're coked up celebrating their championship and actually embarrass them in front of their fans.

Deflecting to Randle isn't gonna change the fact that KAT is historically one of the worst defensive centers of all time. Trying to blame Randle for that is literally hilarious. Its tough to take too much from this game when they shoot lights out like that. No team in the league is beating the Celtics when they shoot like that. They are the champs for a reason.

That's what they want, because Jrue will provide enough resistance for Horford (KP) to cheat off Hart and make you take a tougher shot than expected. That's what they were doing to Embiid last season, they'd actually guard him with Jrue at times.

That's brilliant defense. It forces our worst offensive player to take the shot. So what's the answer to this. You don't want the defense to dictate who shoots? Go away from kat. Get into the offense quicker. Bench jHart for deuce.

You have to get their big into rotation, so everybody on the court has to be able to shoot and attack closeouts. If theres no weak shooter to put KP/Horford on that means they actually have to check someone. If they guard Hart with a big he has to rebound and push in transition pretty much anytime he gets it.


The Nuggets had their number last year too, KP/Horford could not guard Jokic and they could not put Jrue on him either.

We did not trade to move laterally. We traded to be better than what we had in Randle.

Usually when you have a 200 million + player you should not have to question that, but with Kat we do have to question that.

It’s just the resident knuckleheads regurgitating negative talking points. Don’t respond to every barking dog.

Having said that, this loss should give Thibs plenty of film to highlight our weaknesses. Intensity and execution should ramp up after an azz kicking. It’ll take about 20 games to fully jell, but we have enough talent to win despite that.

The sense of entitlement and need for immediate gratification has becoming deafening in here.

We have the talent and even high level talent has a developmental curve until it clicks as a unit.

If people are going to judge this as a final product already, it says more about them than it does about this team's prospects.

Shot creation is a real problem with this team. It has been since last season. Brunson is the only one who can create a shot and good teams will make everything very difficult.

Towns is more of a finisher than creator. Same with Bridges and Anunoby.

Look at how the Celtics evolved once they moved Brown up to SF, upgraded from Smart to Jrue Holiday and put a 2nd ball handler in White in the backcourt.

The biggest fear with this team is that it’s missing a true #2 option. And given the cost invested in this roster it’s near impossible to get the same.

Last night was everything those of us who hated the Bridges trade feared. A team that is all in for the next decade that doesn’t look to be in the same league as the true contenders.

It’s early and only one game, but pay attention to the lack of shot creation and ball handling. It’s a problem
