This is a big game for the Hawks. The Hornets have owned them for years in the regular season. Their defense is also night and day from last year where it was a layup line all season. Getting rid of Dejounte was addition by subtraction.

As much as i like Murray as a player and think he is very talented. I have to agree with you here and i wouldn't give Daniels for Murray straight up at this point. I just know what the Hawks have needed for a minute now to pair with Trae the best player type to put around him. Murray 100% needs to be a PG not a SG to make him be super successful as when he goes against bigger SG's they can get to him. But as a bigger PG himself he eats other PG's alive with length.

Daniels, Risa, and Jalen are the perfect type of players you put around Trae and even Hunter is starting to look really good now that he doesn't have to handle the #1 or 2 offensive threat every single night. Hunter vs #1 threat = avg to below avg at times. Hunter vs the #3 threat and hunter can usually handle them pretty well on defense.

The last thing the Hawks need to finish this is a true star quality 5. Capela god love him needs to be replaced and upgraded with a true defensive 7 ft guy that can also provide some solid offense. If you give the Hawks that and let them gain experience together i think they are a very good team in a year or 2 time.
