There's a shot at flipping Ted Cruz and gaining control of the Senate if Tester can hold his seat in Montana. I think the House will go blue. A unified congress and WH would be able to reform this rogue court.

I’m hearing that we can take back the House. We need to get Allred and Tester across the line. If we get all 3, maybe, just maybe, we can get back on track.

Allred is just a few points behind at the two-minute warning.

Did my part and voted for Allred. Texas has a serious voter turnout problem.

Nice!

Aren’t women going out to vote? They’ve been made to be second class citizens in the state.

FYI guys, this thread poll is just for fun and doesn't actually count towards the real election.

Will it have any bearing on the election even if the votes are not officially counted? Like potentially for a tie break?

Get ready for Trump declaring “victory” before all the votes are counted.

Here the “trick” explained by Prof. Robert Reich. “The Red Mirage”.

Are you saying the tens of millions of people on the left literally do nothing at all to further the divide amongst Americans? I’ve already mentioned the generalizing just in this thread alone. Then posted a link of a Dem voter trying to election rig. Go look thru the internet and you’ll find all the evidence you need of people doing all kinds of wild stuff on the left… and the right. There’s a lot of crazy people out there and they’re not all republicans. As far as Trump’s campaign approving jokes, why would I blame every republican citizen in the country for that?

Both sides - I haven’t seen any reports of Democrats destroying voting boxes. If you have any evidence, I would love to see it. Post the worst example of what you’re referring to. Please.

Jokes - You said, “I’m not gunna blame everyone for it tho, just those that said what they said.”. And I responded that you have to also blame the Trump administration for approving those jokes. I didn’t say you have to blame all republicans though maybe you can blame all the one in the capacity-filled MSG who LOL’d at them.

Why is it limited to just destroying voting boxes? Why would you dismiss the one I posted about the guy trying to rig the election in a different way? What about the dude the other day that just got fired for tampering with a box? People are posting videos about how a guy should know he can’t wear a hat to the polls, so this Dem operative guy should know he can’t mess with a voting box no?

I know what you said about Trump’s campaign allowing those jokes… I’m not sure what exactly you want me to say? Trump himself is denying it, and I doubt he’s the one reading everyone’s speeches and jokes, so whoever gave the ok is an imbecile, for sure. There’s plenty of other reasons to blame or dislike Trump.

My point is about people/citizens turning on each other. It seems that if people are angry, it’s probably more justified to have it directed at the people in DC than at one another no? All Americans are doing is trying their best to pick 1 of 2 trash choices available to try to clean up the garbage made by DC for damn near a century.

I posted yesterday how if one person from each side sat down in a room and spoke like adults, they’d likely realize they have far more in common than not. We all pretty much want the same things in life, so all this other craziness is created by the people in charge who end up ruining it for the rest of us with their lying, stealing, greed, manipulation, etc. I just don’t get the whole partisan/tribal savagery directed at one another. It’s those fukkers, not your neighbors

Put down your phone and go read a history book. Start with William Shirer's The Rise and Fall of The Third Reich. Maybe then you won't be so inclined to reduce everything to "y'all so angry. both sides angry yo" because there is a giant goddamn difference between one political party hell bent on stripping away our voting rights and civil liberties and another party that wants to maintain those.

The parallels to 1932 are pretty obvious to anyone with a basic grasp of historical precedent. And you can be certain there were plenty of people then who were telling their neighbors to simmer down and stop fighting over this Nazi nonsense and telling them it's just a joke about baking a jew in the oven like a bagel. Because that's what you're doing in this thread. And we don't really have any reason to take you seriously if you are that unable to understand we are facing a fork in the road that could result in a fascist state without elected representatives of the people.

I know you go hard AF with the rhetoric and insults with everyone, not sure why, so I won’t take it personally.

But you’re completely missing my point, why are you directing your anger towards other citizens who are only doing what they feel is best? It sounds like your gripe is with the political party, not the voters. I don’t agree with all of the Nazi comparisons at all. We had 4 years with Trump and he wasn’t starting wars or torturing and murdering citizens.

Putting that aside, if you feel that strongly, the point again is, instead of freaking out on others with opposing viewpoints, belittling them or condescending to them, why not try to have civil discourse and maybe try to understand their thought process? Instead, all these threads are is generalizations, insults galore, and propaganda tik tok and twitter posts of non educational 10 second sarcastic takes.

When you promote Nazis, you're a Nazi.

There's zero fcking civility in your tone or message because you're are part of the problem with your ridiculous rhetoric that we should all get along and politely state our case. These are Nazis. Get a clue

Your both sideisms are what Nazis use to normalize themselves as a viable option. Once people think all facts are negotiable and there's no reason to be upset over overtly white nationalist agendas then the Nazis have already won. You're helping them with your viewpoint.

Just stop with the personal insults. They have no part here.

I'll say what I want how I want to say it Wingo. Just like you would tell me. I didn't tell you not to be angry about Palestine because you have every right to feel however you do. All we can do is appeal to the greater issues when individual ones pull us apart. However, this guy is leaning hard into the obscuration of legit concerns about fascism. They are not appealing to our decency. They are working overtime to sweep meaningful distinctions under the rug which is standard issue right wing malarkey that neuters the ability to speak the truth about evil. You've spent your time addressing what you perceive as evils and I did not try to muzzle you. But this guy wants people to simmer down because they really want us to blur the lines completely which is rubbish. So, no, I'll call that BS out my way.

The next time someone tells you to simmer down because you're stating the truth about hate rallies held by Nazis just flip them the bird because that's what they deserve. We don't need to be told we're overreacting to a Nazi rally. Enough with the let's be nice BS. When people try to run cover for Nazis they can F off.
