That defense was unbeatable as we all know.

They're not even fully healthy yet. They're out two of their main rotation bigs. Why they're forced to have these small ball reps. Love the versatility of their roster. They can play any number of ways. Not too many guys to exploit on defense either. Even their 9-12 can defend.

Compare that to the pretender Cavs. They still have no one to guard JT and JB. We can keep hunting either of their star guards.

I think Embiid is just prepping for his inevitable trade demand to NY.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

The article Joel is upset about is rather sleazy and bringing up his dead brother was completely unnecessary. Gotta respect a man for defending family. With that said Joel is overrated. People ranking him as a better player than Tatum smh

I'm not defending what the reporter wrote, I also thought that was unnecessary and mean. But let's not paint shoving somebody that you disagree with in a positive light. That's not defending your family that's just a wild escalation. He could have used his words instead, you know, like adults do.

You don't mess around with an adductor strain. (I don't know what an adductor is.) Cavs catch a break again. Already no Middleton. Tsk.

Memphis just signed Jay Huff to a four year roster contract as a stretch big. They have Zach Edey on a rookie deal for the next four. They have JJJ, they’re probably gonna have to max him on his upcoming extension. They have Brandon Clarke signed for the next three years at $12.5 per … and they’re a small market team.

So I’m wondering what are their plans for Santi Aldama, who is gonna need an extension and is having a nice season so far.

Aldama is one of the main young vets who can come back salary-wise in a trade that sends out Jaden Springer under second apron trade rules.

Who says no, us or MEM, for Jaden Springer plus 2025 Celtics FRP for Santi Aldama??

What's the plan here? Extend Aldama as potential replacement for KP? Can he still be extended or has the time for rookie extensions lapsed? He's RFA end of this season. I don't think we can pay him much with two 50M+ players and three 28M+ players already next season. Even if Horford accepts the minimum next season, that's still a wild payroll to have (unless one of the starting five is traded in the summer).

I like Aldama and would be a great addition to the Cs, especially if it's just for Springer and a FRP, but I don't think Memphis would trade a starter like Aldama.

Memphis will be a playoff team.

So why downgrade?

So far only 4 players are averaging 30 ppg this season.

AD, Giannis, Tatum, and LaMelo are the only ones averaging 30 so far.

I don't think AD and LaMelo can sustain that.

Not sure if Tatum would go for 30 ppg again, but he did in 2023, becoming the only Celtic to average 30 ppg in the regular season.

Giannis is the only one who can sustain this type of production.

Time will tell, but if JT continues to average 30 ppg and the Celtics are #1 again in the standings, there's a big chance JT finally gets an MVP trophy.

Bring it on. Cs gotta give their extra for this matchup. Don't care much about the Tatum benching but still pissed about the 2022 Finals loss in TD Garden after almost going up 3-1.

Magic a lottery team without Banchero. He will have Tatum-level impact on that team soon enough.

So apparently, all 30 teams are playing tonight since NBA is taking an election break the following day. It's amazing that there are ZERO matchups that's worth watching. Maybe Bucks vs. Cavs but only if Giannis is available. And even then, the Bucks suck so what's the point.

ORL @ OKC would've been good if Banchero were healthy. Same with PHI @ PHX except Sixers are still without Embiid.

When he's healthy and playing he's great. The overrated part is true only because nobody used to really question his lack of games played. Now they are though.

Agreed. They'll give him a deal for sure. I could see them doing something with JJJ after this season because he'll want the bag. Morant, Bane and Aldama is a nice young core to be tied to moneywise.

If Jayson Tatum had shown up for that series we win. There’s no reasons to lose to golden state. Their championship window has close. They better not lose.

Boston Atlanta will sustain me. I actually like seeing a starter out (in this case Brown) It only creates more opportunities for others to Grow.. Looking at you JW and Queta
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..
