Re: PG Utah - Bucks Roll
Grizzlies game was so bad but outside of that one Dame's at 32/5/7 on 68% TS lol
If we could just eject 9 and 24 into space it could get very interesting

I'm ready for Horst to convert Rollins two-way. Just need to find a place for Marjon.

Re: PG Utah - Bucks Roll
The same BP hate with some now making fun of the fact he is an excellent rebounder, as if rebounding is not important. Sprinkle that in with the usual, "I'll use plus/minus stat when it suits my narrative" and we have RealGm at its best.
I will say that a few posters get it. BP is a valuable player, but he's best suited to be a stretch 4 and not a center.
What the Bucks need is a guy like Kevon Looney off the bench to get rebounds and play good defense.

I don't like to overreact to a single game, but I honestly don't see how we lose another game.
Why should you go to jail for a crime someone else noticed? You don't need double talk... You need Bob Loblaw.

Re: PG Utah - Bucks Roll
AJ Green clearly needs more minutes. Ajax starting was the injection the starting group needed to get some energy on both ends. I would also love some more Rollins minutes. I didn't realize Marjon was still on this team. Can we get rid of this guy for anything?

Good game with the new rotation. Big bounce back test will be tomorrow.
Utah really looks bad. Ainge may need to accelerate some things with those draft picks.

He sucks or whatever but did Doc answer any questions about Delon after the game?

What's the rush? He doesn't need to be converted any time soon to play.

I wonder if the back had bothered him for awhile? He's isn't good, but he's better than he's been here. I have no doubt he can shoot the 3.

Obviously Dairy Bird isn't going to shoot over 67% from 3 this season(probably), but I think he's doing enough to deserve minutes even when he hits a cold streak.
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Re: PG Utah - Bucks Roll
Teams shoot worse when you disrupt their rhythm. Nobody did that outside Ajax in the 1st half. 2nd half, sparked by Green, most players were applying decent pressure & rotating. Forced clock violations, compelled missed shots, & TO's.
Also, players got back in transition d. Green's underrated at this. Ajax did it too. That happened throughout the game actually.
All of this got the Bucks into transition offense more. Ajax added a # to pair w/ Giannis so he isn't going 1 on 2. Helps for your own easy baskets, and in turn rhythm.
The bottom half of the roster is still limited, but Doc sabotaged youth in preseason to play them w/ each other. Vets got almost all reps together, except ironically mixing Johnson & Smith. Didn't set us up for the regular season. Back dooring this out of necessity.
The caveat to all this is it's 1 game, at home, v. Utah. Brook matched w/ Kessler, they don't have good dribble penetration, or shooting. So could have turned a corner, or it's fool's gold (still not a fan of the big lineups). But more pleasant to watch.

Love the energy from the young guys, AJJ brings defense that we desperately need and athleticism. Green is a fantastic shooter and we need to use him more.

This was probably the best defense I've seen AJJ play. He was calm and relied on his size against the smaller guards. He played with confidence on both sides of the ball.
