Re: Bears 8.0: Season being flushed down the drain
On that last play on 3rd down, I blame Kmet. He did the same thing last year with Fields in Denver that resulted in an interception. On a blitz, he didn't bother to turn and look for the ball. He was wide open right away, but kept running his route.

We are closer to competing with the Panthers for draft pick seeding than we are any serious nfl franchise by a good margin. This is going from ugly to uglier to more uglier each week now

I'm not giving up on Caleb completely. But he is being outplayed by Daniels, Drake Maye and Bo Nix. Too many inaccurate passes when he does have more than 2.3 seconds to throw. Bad pocket awareness so far. Now I wish we would have traded down, gotten a haul and just drafted Bo Nix in the middle of the 1st Round.

Yeah, it seemed like a 4 and out right after half was about it.
If the Pat's score a TD on this drive, that is the season.
This whole thing is trending the wrong way.

Is it against board policy to start a "detroit west" Lions tracking thread? Bears are just on when will flus waldron poles get fired watch. But I like to watch and follow good football and the lions are a great midwest example of it. And they're not the packers.

Re: Bears 8.0: Season being flushed down the drain
If we can't beat the Patriots we aren't going to beat anyone. So we could easily finish 4-13. That still puts us better than the Titans, Jaguars, Raiders, Giants, Saints and Panthers. So we'd have the 7th pick in the 1st round, and the 38th and 39th picks in the second round. If 4 or 5 QBs go in the Top 10 we could have the chance to draft Mason Graham DL, Will Campbell OT, Kelvin Banks Jr OT with our own FRP. In the 2nd round we could pick up an Guard like Tate Ratledge from Georgia, DJ Cambell from Texas, or Tyler Booker from Alabama and then pick up an Edge like Jack Sawyer from Ohio State or Landon Jackson from Arkansas.

Everett missed a block. DJ could’ve gone a long long way with that if he picked that block up.

LOL...I knew that was a sack coming. CW holds on to the ball longer than Fields did.

If they fire Flus/Waldron who takes over? Its not like they got coaches in house right now that can take over and improve the team significantly.

Every defense playing the Bears trying to get their sack stats up for contracts and pro bowls.

Go to the Detroit board for that. We’re not the Lions West.
