Poles can't evaluate talent. Flus can't coach. Clean house before they ruin Caleb's career.

All should be gone by Monday.
Poles is OL from building one of the best rosters in the NFL. The OL is 100% on him and a major mark but that shouldn't negate everything else he's done. He's the reason we have williams. He's done a lot more good than bad. And i'm not putting all the blame on him for coaching either. I'm 100% convinced ownership had more say in keeping him than we know
Does he deserve harsh criticism for putting that OL out? Yes. But wanting to get rid of him makes no sense to me

Unless you are specifically talking OL, this is objectively false. He's done a great job of draft, especially in the mid-late rounds. And he's signed great FAs. And acquired great talent via trades.

Why waste season and destroy mental confidence of this players, specially our young QB by keeping terrible coach who clearly lost a team. You fire him so you dont see players quit and underperfom rest of season. Anyone who played sports at any level knows, that coach who lost a lockeroom should not come back there.
Eberflus if he was anything but fraud would himself walk away without being fired due losing lockeroom.

Allen should have been traded at the deadline. It was STUPID not to do so.
If any decent O-lineman or draft pick was on the table, monumental stupidity. And someone wanted to give up a pick for Velus too. WTF is Poles doing

It’s going to be impossible to fix the O Line mid season. But they have to protect Caleb from injury at least for the rest of the season.
AKME got to go

No, the reason we have Williams is Lovie Smith (for the last second win) and David Tepper (for having his heart set on Young, regardless of his staff thought).
And as of right now, having Williams does not mean a whole lot.

Poles flus and waldron are obvious failures. The unearned nepotistic aura of this franchise is so much to overcome. I wish we weren't subject to these legacy oligarchs like the mccaskeys in American sport.

Wright pick looks iffy. Stevenson pick too.
Claypool and Allen not seeming like great trade targets.
Nate Davis a complete dud of a signing.

Yes, not trading VJJ for pick when offered, only to cut him 2 months later is horrible GM'ing.

I guess sure, but poles still took advantage of it and made an amazing move. A move that a lot of people (including people on this board) were calling the greatest trade of all time.

I hope we don't skip over Poles. Time to talk to warren. Flus and waldron are so obviously terrible it's just bears being bears with this pussyfooting lack of leadership. Poles failures are MOUNTING

I think it was a great trade, and he has been living off the rep of that trade ever since.

Yea, poles has done a lot on inexcusable things, when it comes to addressing the OL. I still like the Allen trade but he probably should have been traded at the deadline. I won't completely criticize that until allen leaves. I don't care about the 4th for Bates. At least it was an attempt to improve the line. And in the very limited time he's played, I think you can say he's been our best lineman.
But Poles needs to stop pussyfooting around making the OL better and go all in. High draft picks and a lot of cap spaced use. If he doesn't do that, then he needs to be fired. I still think its too premature to say he needs to be gone after this season. He's acquired way too much talent for me to be comfortable with firing him.
if we do though, we need to get someone from the Lions. That front office has almost done a flawless job since getting there

If they don’t get a quarterback out of it, if you’re ruining a quarterback, no chance.

What about the elite defense he's put together? on pretty friendly deals. whether you like the trade or not, he got an All pro Wr coming of his best season ever for the 4th. Swift has been pretty good despite a horrid game plan. He's put together an elite roster outside of OL. and I don't want to minimize that at all. Big knock against Poles. But he should get his own coach and one more year to make the OL an NFL caliber line

He got the QB. the QB a lot of pro evaluators called the greatest prospect of all time. I think its too soon to say they are ruining Williams. Warren and ownership deserves a lot of blame for coaching as well. Maybe I'm giving Poles too much of a pass for coaching, but I don't think its reasonable to give him the bulk of the blame for HC i don't really consider his.

Serious question, why would you trust Poles to do these 2 things with his record so far?
The defense? Only a Bears GM would build around a defense with a “generational” QB prospect on board. Totally on the wrong foot. This guy is searching for defensive ends for Christ’s sake.

Heeeelll nah. Poles doubled down on Eberflus last year. And in the offseason. If Eberflus and or Waldron isn’t fired now?
