You cannot leave him open for a micro-second at the 3pt line.

not when he is hot like that. it's death.

can't believe they let him get the inbound pass to hit the final ft. terrible defense

Mavs just looks incapable so far of winning a clutch game this season.

Indeed. Curry vs. Klay was peak drama. Plus, they have TWO Klay Thompsons (Q Grimes)!

i could go on but i think the point's been made - barely 10 games in and lots of twolves fans have seen enough and kat having the best offensive season of his life is just salt in the wound

we should all be thankful that randle is no longer our problem and never will be again

I did not expect Towns to be as comfortable as he has been playing center.

For most jumpshooting bigs, the perception is that they don't want to get physical and would much rather play the 4.

Towns welcomes being at the center spot full-time.

He adjusted playing alongside Gobert the last two seasons, but I really thought that's what he preferred.

He knows the knock on him is lack of effort on the defensive end, but on the court it looks like he's trying.

Now all he needs is Mitch to come back. I doubt Towns wants to play 38+ minutes a night, he is accustomed to 32-33. Mitch at 15-16 mpg would be perfect. Sims only being playable for 9 minutes a night is embarrassing.

i kinda bought into the "soft" label. while I think that is far from the case he is plays very physical. i was told he was a great rebounder but didn't believe it until I saw it. he is smart and physical in that area. plus he is a beast on the block or when driving. he is far from soft.

on defense I think he is fine at C. i'd rather see us switch more than him trying to play drop coverage. he is out of position a lot. could be adjusting to being back at C or he is just poor at his reads. either way his offense more than makes up for his defensive flaws. which was what I was most worried about. that he would be a net negative cause his defense was just too bad.

my biggest gripe is how he uses his fouls. i'd rather see my C use them protecting the paint than on silly offensive fouls. but that is prolly cause i'm use to my C being the focal point of the defense instead of the offense. I hate when my age shows, "back in my day a C played defense not shoot 3s". he also might not be trying to be aggressive on defense cause like you mentioned we do not have a real back up big on the team right now.

Thibs is a wizard creating the perception worthless basketball players like Randle, RJ and Grimes are good.

Next up, the basketball legerdemain for Dadiet and Hukpootie so they can be shipped for useful role players.

Well deserved. He's playing some terrible basketball.

Looks like he's already in postseason form.

He's already sinking the team, making them get blown out by the lowly blazers.

More to come
