Shoutout KCP too defensively. The Suggs/KCP/Black trio is just such a weapon at the point of attack.

Then you have Franz who is a plus defender himself roaming around.

Goga and Isaac on the backline who are also plus defenders.

Yeesh.

The impact that AB and Goga have on winning is very fascinating. They are winning players.

JI, Moe, and even KCP show the same ability to impact winning, though JI and KCP are taking a while to ramp up.

Suggs, obviously. Franz and Paolo, of course.

Anyone noticing that TDS has this in his game as well? I think he played extremely well without scoring a lot.

Cole is one of these ones as well, though he is extremely temperamental.

You know who doesn't have this, IMO?

WCJ, Harris, Jett, and Houstan.

Harris and WCJ are 1st and 2nd on the team in net rating for what it's worth.

But consistently outside the top 80% in sweater vest points (ignore Harris' Miami game, please)

The Magic are currently No. 2 in the NBA in DRTG. OKC is No. 1.

Magic are also No. 1 in the NBA in defensive rebounding.

He can't really shoot off the dribble, but he constantly throws up bs at the rim from the mid range. Also, he had Goga for several lobs at KCP in the corner all night but refuses to pass it to them.

It's like the only people he consistently passes to that Paola is out is his brother (first, second, and third option) and then Suggs and sometimes AB. That's it.

Thats kinda like you are descrining a MAX scoring forward. He isnt Luka or LBJ that gets others involved. He is like that Kobe Tmac where you want them to get theirs.

The MAX forward you want or talking about is currently.in out bench rehabbing an injury

Duh. The second unit was moving the ball in the 4th. Franz came in and proceeded to hold the ball and miss layups and brick shot after shot. We went on a run with Franz on the bench.

Franz is good but he's not a max player and the offense should not run through him because he's only looking to get his. AB should have continued running the offense in the 4th when he returned. Suggs is a SG

But thats exactly how you do it. When you need a score you give it to your "star" "go-to-guy" " hot hands" " angels in the outfield "

Besides that is what Franz is known for.

I don't remember which post game but I remember Jalen said something along the lines of us looking back a week from now and laugh about the losses because wins are coming. I'm so happy that he was correct. I really thought we were going to go 0-whatever without Paolo. It sucks that he is not playing but seeing the other guys stepping up and learning to play using their strengths is one of the most awesome things that came out of it.

Also, I cannot tell Franz and Tristan apart when they're playing together.

Vest threads are a fun way to create post win interaction, but they’re ultimately always going to skew in favor of the more popular players on the team above all else.

Carter is not a popular player among the fans, and thus will not get credited in the fan voting in ways other guys who are more popular will get over credited.

Doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do the vest threads. They’re fun. But ultimately they’re not meaningful.
