This topic has already been discussed to death so I'll be brief - Springer and Scheierman have guaranteed contracts so they weren't going to get cut - especially not by a 2nd apron team.
Still, even with Springer and Scheierman we had an open roster spot that could have gone to Walker but the team chose to cut him instead..which simply means they're like the other 29 teams who all decided against signing Walker..
Understood, my issue is that Springer and Scheierman got guaranteed contracts in the first place. My educated guess is that neither of those guys will ever be better in the future than Lonnie Walker is right now.
I have to think that Walker will be back in the NBA at some point this season. He's too good of a player to be out of the league.
That's why NBA teams have until February to buyout Walker's Euro contract.
