Missed the game. Looks like we play better with Miles and can even carry Brandon on a gross off night, which is becoming a pattern.

Also looks like Diabaté is trending Dennis Rodman. He looks like an X-factor player which is always fun. Kind of like Mann.

These guys are really getting their first fair shake here and flashing real talent and potential. Kudos to Peterson and scouts for finding the Diabaté, dare I say, diamond-in-the-rough.

Also, Green is not dead, apparently.

Also, fair question for NBA fans:

Is LaMelo Ball a top-10 player?

Watching Doc meltdown brings joy to my heart. It’s one thing to complain about the last call, fine. Then he goes fully off the rails ranting about how Giannis was in the paint all game and there’s no way he only gets one FT.

Cmon bro we all watched that game. Giannis was settling for 18 footers all game. Giannis was kicking to shooters all game. LaMelo was far more aggressive than Giannis, bottom line

Either way, for a coach of his self appointed stature to be having meltdowns 10 games into the year thinking the refs are biased against him in favor of the Charlotte freaking Hornets is so embarrassing.

He's got Giannis and the best play he could draw up was a midrange jumper. Some legendary coach Rivers is.

Wonderful to win this one. Concerned that Miller is getting into a rut, maybe his shot mechanics off from the constant changes in lineup. We need healthy players and consistency to reach our significant potential. Green perhaps the same issues. Miles helped a lot tonight. He can be a difference maker. My goodness Diabate…! He and Mann are significant pieces of this squad.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Love how our peripheral pieces like Diabaté and Mann are embracing their roles with a hunger you don't find in fat cat vets like Plumlee and Oubre.

Charlotte is a new land of opportunity so it's been so much fun for me to watch them journey. Their teammates and coach see it too. It's so early for them, really first chance ever in their careers, but they're solidifying their roles.

Gives Peterson greater flexibility to build from the core and maybe even absorb a new core player from the trade market.

8 seed right now and we basically have a full cupboard.
