Brandon played very well. Miles too. TJ looked solid. Mann did good, on offense at least. We made 55% of our 3's.

Like, it's hard to lose a game when all those things happen at the same time. But the turnovers, and the refs too, screwed us.

Maybe Melo would've made some shots, but I don't have an issue with him being benched. Maybe this motivates him to not make so many bad decisions.

Im afraid he's always going to make bad decisions. For the next couple years anyway. People get on him for i guess acting prissy if that's even the right word and driving all these cars and outfits but the dude does play hard and gets emotional. Also acts like a brat sometimes out there but so did Kemba. Hopefully it stops. If it does hes damn near unstoppable.

yeah i was always worried that the hotdog style basketball is just part of his DNA and can only be restrained so much. its whether you can work around it.

I don’t even mind what i’ve seen from Lee. People are so quick to just want first year coaches fired. You’ve got to establish a culture and go from there. Need to give guys at least 3-5 years. Same goes for Canales

I'm annoyed we lost, but PHI was way worse

I don't think I've seen anyone mention wanting him fired.

agree 100%, I'm frustrated right now, but I'm also happy to wait and see how they work it out.

Personally I was ok with Clifford if he was younger. But this teams turnovers this season would've ended his life. Literally. I don't think he could've taken it.

It’s more of a reddit/twitter thing. Basically saying our offense is worse and defense only marginally better but again you’ve got to establish a culture to fix something that’s been broken this long. Pretty much feel the same about the panthers

We play LaMelo in a game down 35 pts cause for some reason the tournament is important and then bench LaMelo in a very winnable game to..send a teaching message? Lee is kind of a moron

Yeah those reddit twitter guys are morons. I rarely go there. Although Canales is really pissing me off going week by week not naming Bryce the starter after 2 straight wins but that's a whole other thing.

I don't think he's a moron. But yeah. I agree.

Edit: thats actually a great point. Play Lamelo risking injury because the point differential matters or some weird **** but then bench him. Yeah. To hell with that. Great post.

Defense only marginally better....

We were 29th in DRTG last season.

We are 20th right now, and in our last 8 games we're 10th. That's almost a miracle.

Trust me I’m with you. It seems to be trending in the right direction.

There are probably better games to make a point with Lamelo but the more you left it happen without taking a stand the harder it gets to establish the right culture

I know we hashed it out before over this, but I actually think this makes perfect sense.

Teaching Melo how to responsibly play the game of basketball is more important than anything else we can accomplish this season. I would happily lose every important game for the rest of the season if that meant Melo learns to value possessions and not make completely terrible and immature decisions.

Lol hey I'm negative a lot, but at least I just don't fire away with that. I also try to be positive.

Try being the key word.
