Have to think that RoY is currently between McCain and Knecht.

I'm thinking I'll probably re-do the poll later in the month. No rush but if anyone has suggestions let me know. I haven't been following the rookies as closely as you guys. I'm thinking McCain and Knecht need their own option, but then I have to take other guys out. And there may be other adjustments that haven't occurred to me.

Stephon Castle
Jaylen Wells
Zach Edey
Alex Sarr

Honorable mention: Clingan, George, Da Silva, Dunn, Missi, Filipowski

So much is going to change in the 2nd half when teams poop for Coop so a few more guys may join the fray and guys already listed will get more playing time. Until then I suggest:

Edey
Castle
McCain
Risacher
Sarr
Knecht
Wells
George
Carrington
Other

Wemby was also posting ridiculous lines and doing things rarely done by anyone, especially rookies. No one is doing that this season. But the only reason winning became part of the discussion was because "rookie" Chet Holmgren had a pretty nice season himself on a winning team.

Really the ROY almost always goes to the rookie with the nicest box score stats. So at this rate it seems like McCain is the favorite

Antonio Reeves goes off for 34 pts. No hype for him though. Never overpay for non-elite SGs.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

It is a factor; it's just not the only factor. Wemby hit too high on all the other factors for the win total as a rookie to be held against him though.

Historically, no. But if the top contenders are close, it could be a factor. I don't think it will be in this case tho, both are role players, they aren't driving wins.

McCain looks like he will run away with the award and he also looks like a Steph Curry clone.

The only people who would make such an insane statement are:

- Hussien Fatal who thinks anyone who puts on a Sixers uniform is a god tier player
- People who never watched either Curry or McCain play.

He's not even in the same solar system, galaxy, or universe as Curry as a shooter or shot creator.

Really solid game by McCain. Dude never skips leg day so no wall.

Last 2 games have been weird. I get it authority at the top and all, but good things happen when you go through him. Got frozen out abit in the 2nd halves

Don't like that at all. Maxey needs reps and we suck doo doo arse. Got a really nice slash line. Keep going my guy

No mention of Jaylon Tyson? I didn't see the game so anyone who did...how did he look?

It was Tyson's first start and he put up 16 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists in a win.

So? This thread was made before the season started. He was the 17th pick and there are a limited number of poll options...

Well it isn't October anymore. The poll should be constantly updated with relevant updates if it's going to be sticked. No excuses.
