Always hated Zion. Always knew he was fat and overhyped. Bad day for Zionists

I kept watching to see what would justify him not dumping it in. The defenders on the corners were not leaving their assignments...that was either an easy 2 or more than likely a foul on Scottie Barnes.

Rudy shouldn't have quit on the play, so I understand why Ant yelled at him, but I would be pissed off at Randle too.

I can't choose sides in this.
They're both petty mf. Rudy is insufferable and randle is messy.

The one I feel bad for is Ant. He deserves better. Hell we deserve better. He is so fun to watch and they stuck him with to unlikable players.

Ant is gonna leave Minnesota eventually. Trading away KAT for Randle for money reasons is a huge red flag.

Everyone sucks here.

Leon playing 3D chess. Sent them Randle to make Ant miserable and to get him here.

Same, I still believe in zion.

He is a nutritionist and sex therapist away from being a top player in the L.

This is almost as bad as still believing in RJ in 2024

Nah, there's no delusion about what's going on here - we know we have a problem. You won't find us in threads arguing, wishcasting, trolling, or gaslighting about Zion. We know what we love, and we also know how wrong it is so there's no need to flaunt it. We're high-functioning addicts.

so basically you have the same relationship with zion as zion does with his food, got it

All jokes aside, I fully expect Leon to land another big fish as the years go on. As long as Brunson and KAT are here this team will always be in the conversation

Problems between Randle and Gobert? Who would’ve thought? Randle wouldn’t pass Gobert the ball because he has Nerlens hands.

We all thought Randle had negative value but that wasn't the case. He was the main piece in bringing in KAT.

But I agree it's nice not having to worry about a Chernobyl type meltdown.

Though I'm in the minority that would have liked to see him have playoff success here. I do believe he was an important piece in the resurrection of this franchise. That said the FO moved him at the right time for a better piece.

His contract had value, his production had value in another FO convincing a fanbase it wasn't totally a salary dump for a franchise type player. We can agree that if there ever was a sell high time to get the most out of him as a trade piece Rose seemed to do it.

As far as an important piece in the resurrection of a team beyond his stats let me ask how was it really him? Thibs has been the one to transform a directionless franchise into a credible team as Rose continues to give him better and better players to do it. It appears R***** owes more to Thibs than fans owe to R*****. He worked hard on his game and his body but the team improvment came from Thibs work.

The Knicks used a late season surge that got them into a playoff spot to then have him epically flop in it, then the next season was a mess again. R***** was part of a half season of good basketball in two seasons before Brunson. We should be thankful that Thibs could turn his flawed empty stats into an attractive enough piece to fool some other GM to give up something good....or maybe even great for him.

I tried to love the guy while he was with the team but he made it so hard to do that and now it's a joy to watch the Knicks without him on it...in part just simply because he isn't on the team. If I'm a terrible person for feeling or thinking this way then I am in the right place.

I'm not going to convince you or anyone to appreciate randles work here. He isn't an easy guy to like and he sht the bed when it really mattered. I could make excuses for him like health or a bad roster. But what's the point. He is gone. And others played a huge role so it isn't a clear picture.

I don't even blame fans here for having ill will against him. It's not surprising that fans find it entertaining that he fails. His attitude sucked, he treated people poorly, and failed in the playoffs.

Despite all that I can appreciate that he was a piece of bringing the Knicks out of a dark place.

Just because I don't like the player doesn't mean there's 'ill will' for them, maybe that's your way but it's not mine and I can't speak for anyone else. He's just a guy who came to the Knicks because they'd pay him when there was no other team going to give him that much money.

I misspoke, R***** contributed to a half a season of good basketball in 3 seasons before Brunson, not 2. He didn't bring the Knicks out of a dark place, he brought the dark place with him even as the Knicks left that dark place lead by Thibs and Brunson.

Yet, now he's bringing it to a new team and a new fan base gets to exprience that indescriable feeling of watching him play. I can agree he certainly was a piece from the Knicks past, your choice of word, not mine.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Alec Burks would have been solid vet on this Knicks team. He balled out against the Pacers. I don't know if we offered him a deal to come back or if he wanted to go to Miami instead.

Nah we need Grimes way more than Burks. Our defense is terrible.

Jaylen Brown has hit 5 3pts in 3 minutes vs the Wolves :o

Thank goodness the Wolves have fantastic rim protection to stop those 3's.

Timberwolves not getting blown out by Boston like they did to us. Must be nice having rim protection

Celtics just happily splashing 3's, blowing out the Wolves.

Must be nice having the league's best rim protector preventing the Celts from spamming 3's.

Only an 11 point game now. Imagine we had rim protection against Boston it would've been close like it is for Minny.
