I like that he's embracing podcasting /media. Hopefully it means he's not planning on trying to play next season. We need as many open spots as possible to try to find more Rollins and Greens.

With Draymond, Pat Bev, Paul George etc. I really doubt this relates to TA deciding to bow out on his playing career.

If you see that Giannis cut just outside of the lane, you say,
Fifteen feet to the dunk shot.
Amos Barshad: "So you got a job, a place to live, a license? What’s left?"

Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”

This alone, no. But I'm hoping this is a step in that direction. Of course if he wants to play next season he'll be on the team. But I'd much rather see him doing media, doing PR for the team, etc... He can still hang out with the team/Giannis as much as he wants. And sit adjacent to the bench. We'll see.

I still don't really understand how we can't hire him on as like, an assistant strength and conditioning coach, or some honorary "player relations advisor" role.

They should just let him emcee the entire game. I hate that current guy, Thanasis would probably be better at it off the bat and everyone would love him.

I hope the guys are focused on the game and didn't spend all night at the Perez Art Museum and Florida Grand Opera.

Giannis' left calf strain has me really concerned. It was his left soleus that knocked him out of the playoffs. I'd sooner let him rest. Khris is coming back this week sometime right? It's ok if we lose a couple games until Khris comes back.

I'm not sure what the rules are regarding sitting near the bench. Mark Cuban says that the NBA no longer allows him to sit behind the Mavs bench on the road after his ownership status changed. Thanasis has been sitting courtside at the games I have seen him attend.

I am surprised to hear that Cuban, after 25 years of ownership and still retaining a minority ownership position, would have trouble getting the seats that he wants. Teams might have less say on away game seating than I would have expected.

Most games he's been to he's sitting adjacent to the bench. So he's within a couple of feet. Those seats are for sale so there are no restrictions on who sits there.

I was surprised about Cuban too. He's still a part owner.

Pretty important game. Hopefully we can carry our improvements to road games.
