I have zero doubt that there are 12 year old madden players better at game management than Flus.

Kicks can be blocked. Hail Mary’s can be caught. Defense can let team down in OT. But this. This is inexcusable.

What could have been- Bears had so many chances. If Kmet doesn't get that OPI, if Caleb hits DJ on that little crosser, if Teven doesn't get that penalty, If Caleb doesn't take those sacks.

OTH, they made a lot of improbably plays to take it that far too- the big play to DJ, the big PI call on 4th and 14. So close again, but no cigar.

Encouraging as hell to see them play so well in the second half though. Facing the toughest part of teh schedule, they've come within inches of beating DET, GB, and MIN the last 3 weeks. Glad to see them fight like that.

How in the world do they not get a kick attempt off? 58 yards indoors is doable. Especially this day and age where guys kick 60 like it's a free throw

Ahahaha top notch game management there, collectively all Bears fans on this sub were thinking the same thing - make one more play, timeout, and get into FG range

Buh-bye Flus.

Oh, and Rome gave up on the play.

I saw that too- if he kept running he could have possibly made a play on the ball.

That last sack was absolutely pathetic blocking. Borrom is whatever, he’s a back up for a reason. But it’s time to move on from jones as a starter

McCaskeys gotta do something. Their normal protocol is let the coach finish out the season, but that s*** was disgraceful. Fire this dude into the sun.

The Bears should never have been in that position though- Caleb just can't take a sack to take yourself out of FG position. He'll learn from that, but you just can't do that. They were well within Santo s range. Now maybe you see what Flus elected to let the clock run down in the other game.

I don’t think Caleb expected to have both edge rushers in his grill because both tackles whiffed simultaneously almost immediately.

lol yep, apparently he (and the Bears) can't win...the penalties and sacks he was worried about last time took us right out of range.

I would blame that sack on him at all. He barely got the snap before having both ends on his back. They were untouched. 100% on the blocking. Didn’t even have time to throw it away

I know it doesn’t feel like it, but this may be the best case scenario.

Caleb plays well and the loss gets us a better draft pick and Flus fired.

I love Caleb and he’s going to be awesome you can see it.

How he makes it harder on himself with the sacks and his lack of touch on easy wide open stuff drives me crazy.
