Not complaining, I'm so used to players coming back specifically to play against us that this is a nice change of pace

The same thing happened last year early in the season. Maybe it’s the new nature of the NBA. Or maybe players don’t want to get beat up against our physical team.

I think a mix of both

we're definitely benefitting overall defensively from the increase in physicality allowed due to changes in officiating

Might explain why our defensive rating is a good amount better than last seasons, which was already top 3

If the Knicks lost today, it would have given us a chance to win the group with one loss, since the 1st tiebreaker is differential.

Either way it’d be nice to win them all to secure a home game in the cup quarterfinals.

I don’t think we would have been automatic winners. Even if they were 2-1 and we went 3-0, they would still have a chance to beat us in the last game because the first tiebreaker is head-to-head. If the scenario happens in reverse we would still have a chance to win against the Knicks next Tuesday.

Oh, I mixed up the tie-breakers, thanks for clarifying.

We need to remember who effectively eliminated us from the cup last year. I want blood tonight!

So you didn’t learn your lesson the first time?

I never learn. I’ll make sure I don’t go to the knicks game though. It’s looking like a must win now

If you ever get the chance to go to that game, enjoy and cheer for the Magic men!

Check out the NOP games.

So... defenders of the elf... after that amazing 21 assist game, EP is back to his 2 2 2 statline?

He played 14 minutes off the bench instead of 30 as a starter. He’s currently also the only player on their team with a positive +/-

Does that mean like Goga? He needs to be the starter with the 1st team so he can produce?

You should be.

Look at the NYK vs CHA. Look at ATL vs CLE.

Those were suppos3d to be spankings by the favored teams yet scores show otherwise
