Theres a vid of where Chet was spotted in an OKC practice and holy smokes!!!! He is in crutches but whats more crazy is his legs. Someone else watch that vid and tell me your reaction.

Seeing Chet with those bamboo legs is a bit scary.
Still remembered the thread with Paolo vs Chet.
Forget the talents for a second. How long is Chet able to stay in the league being skinnylike that ??
That body is not made for the rigorous of the NBA.

Yeah him and Vic are the players who i know have high usage and scared for them.

The 76ers and Timberwolves locker room drama makes me thankful for the sometimes-cheesy "family" theme on the Magic.

Funny, I think the opposite. The heavy religiosity angle is the turnoff for me.

Both spectrums suck.

The Magic took Jett Howard because Grady Dick was acting dumb.
Grady Dick is now an NBA starter scoring 18 points per game

Western sickness of society includes irrational obsession with "celebrities" as young kids look after those morons and try to mimic them. Main problem is mental programming. Famous = success, success = money , money = measurable proof of success.

Lamelo, much like vast majority of young star athletes, isn't most rational nor brightest apple in garden, grew up babied and told he will be next big thing, around people who always told him is chosen one.
Education? What's that? Those kids hardly go through primary school without pushover from parents to finish it, already at high school they have benefits of "athlete" pedigree.
Self critique? Non.
Ego ? Full blown.

This is exactly why so many of them find in legal troubles. They can't grasp hard- no as answer.

Religion part, purpose is to give you some inner peace. It's personal. Most people turn to religion once they are in situations their mind can't rationalize, in moments of great sorrow.

So Embiid had horrible, swollen knee during playoffs in April and casually elected to play at Olympics? But now it's on 76ers to pay him billions of dollars ?

Must love those guaranteed sui...deal

What is Charlotte doing with there star players? I know they are heavily injured but letting them chuck 30+ every night and 20 shots from 3 is just bad basketball and creating bad habits. Even with a team of g league players you can still run sets and play team ball. Not sure if that really makes Miller better in the long run.

I remember a lot of people here wishing we would've drafted Podz last season. He's a year older than AB and shooting 38/21/71.

Time to come to grips of reality that moving Towns was disaster for Wolves? Especially for Randle out of all people

It's always nice getting a reminder that we don't have the absolute worst front office in the league.

It could be worse, as Randle would say.

A quarter of the way through the season. The play-in race seems the most interesting to. BPI has the Bulls and Nets > 50% play-in probability, but they are likely going to sell that away. Detroit, Charlotte, and Toronto will all likely want to get in as they have their young cores already in place. Philly should still be favored to get in unless they shelve Embiid.

Here are some categories for the play-in race, based on ESPN BPI probabilities:

In the bubble and want in: Philly, Atlanta, Indiana

In the bubble and likely want to tank: Chicago, Brooklyn

Outside the bubble but want in: Detroit, Charlotte, Toronto

Outside and tanking: Washington

Miami is the one team that is in the top 6 but has decent odds of falling into the play-in.

If Detroit beats Milwaukee and makes the knockout round I'll be impressed and willing to bet on them making the play-in.

Denver currently is slotted in the lottery with the 14th pick... that's our pick and it's only top 5 protected... could be VERY valuable in a trade if we want to push more chips forward.
