With Paolo and Franz out, Suggs is trying his best to be a player he is not. You really can’t blame him.

That means he's not worth a max contract

TBF he doesnt injure intentionally other players but his flopping and baiting is up there. And the refs alwqys fall for.it.

How many time he has shot over 50% from the field?
Answer - 2.

It's his 4th season, so maybe this is what he is, a poor offensive player with one outliner of a season.

I'm not throwing him under the bus, but we have to accept that he should have a smaller role and maybe focus on the thing he does the best, although we are going to pay him too much for being a defense only player.

Suggs is miscast in his role now, I think he was fine at the SG position.....he has too much on his plate, it's going to look better when paolo gets back.... But Jalen shouldn't be depended on offensively, he doesn't have the bag for that

Come on now, lol. The Magic are not paying Suggs to be a go to guy. He is not even getting max money. As somebody needs to score, Suggs is forced to be a guy he is not with Paolo and Franz out. I have no clue why he is getting blamed. If Franz and Paolo were playing he’d be fine. This is just what happens when your top two guys go down.

I like how hard we played for most of the game. The defense was solid. Take away Brunson, KAT, or even Hart, and we win.

Jalen Suggs is not a #1 option.

He’s an ancillary guy on offense that sets the pace for your teams defense that makes other teams pay when they focus too heavily on Franz or Paolo.

Since last season’s playoffs, and the beginning of this season, he has been put into a role for the sake of the FO waiting around for a point guard to appear. I hated the KCP acquisition for this reason.

Hes forced to try to be a player he isn’t right now. Anthony Black, Cole Anthony, and Corey Joseph just aren’t cutting it right now as replacements off the bench.

this statement is completely fair... if you completely ignore whatever has happened during this season with injuries to two guys who will take around 30-45 shots a game lol

Even with them, he was having a bellow average shooting season on a lower usage.

The thing is he is going to get paid more than 30m for being 10 ppg guy. He offers a lot of things, so it's not a disaster, but it's not a great outing too.
