Just realized the 3rd place(BYU) & 4th place(Colorado) teams in the Big 12 are facing off in the Alama Bowl. We got the Big 12 Bronze Medal game

This whole Belichick to UNC thing is weird as hell. There's no chance that works and UNC can only be pursuing him because he's a name. But that **** will wear off as soon as they figure out he can't grind the way college coaches need to these days to keep their folks from entering the portal.

Marc Lasry was just on CNBC talking about companies buying stakes in college football teams. He said his company is in talks about buying 51% of a couple of teams but wouldn't name them.

The report went on to talk about valuations. They had Ohio State at #1 at $1.32 billion. Followed by Texas, Texas A&M, Michigan and Alabama. They then explained what went into the valuations.

Very interesting.

ETA, Wisconsin is #15 , $832 million valuation

The financial guys didn't really know. One said the football program would be treated as a separate entity and you'd be basically buying a piece of the football program only. Lasry saying he's negotiating to buy a majority piece of 2 football programs was a surprise. It's unchartered territory.
