Kasparas Jakucionis
Sign me up. This kid looks (literally) looks like a hybrid of Podz and Huerter but even younger and more athletic.

Re: Kasparas Jakucionis
Shooting consistency is a question mark, but he brings just about everything else to the table. I think he's a lottery-level prospect and a potential lead initiator at the next level. Love the way he plays with pace and pushes the ball ahead.

For context, in Europe he has shot 85% on 420 fta and 33% on 515 3pts going back to age 14.

He isn't going that high but I do think he could go top 5.

I haven't seen a full Illinois game, they are on my list. Liked him this summer but didn't expect quite this level of productivity.

I hope you're not insinuating over Cooper Flagg. But, this is Real GM, so you probably are.
Who do you have over Cooper Flag?

I just wish he was a bit more athletic. He has everything else.

I love him as a prospect. Great size/playmaking. Shows a lot of potential scoring. Just seems to force things too much right now. I think he has a shot at being 3rd off the board.

Yeah, this will probably what holds him back in the league.
He has 1 dunk all year at 6-6.
He just looks more advanced in understanding the game than most college kids right now, which makes sense since was in Barca system and played professionally already.
I need to watch him more but he is stronger than a lot of the college guards he is facing which is usually not the case for most incoming freshman and he has plus height for college lead ball handler.
I could see him struggling vs bigger more athletic NBA defenders, but no real strong takes on him yet.

I think the opposite. I think he will explode offensively in the NBA with much more space and much faster space. See him leading an elite offense as the engine. What he lacks in athleticism he will make up for getting down hill on fast breaks and close outs.

Re: Kasparas Jakucionis
I'm not worried about his athleticism either. Size + strength + skills has shown to be a good combination in the NBA.

Re: Kasparas Jakucionis
If Harper and Cooper aren't the best player of this draft in 5 years; I think Jakucionis probably has the highest chances of being that player.

He's got a little of that Ginóbili slipperiness to his game that I love. Could be the best in a very good class.

He is our big Lithuanian hope, NBA prospect we havent had since Marčiulionis, all our top NBA players from then always have been bigmen, he is like anomaly, we haven't had good guards since Šaras/Šiškauskas era. That said, I am very pessimistic, maybe because I did see him against pros before, and he was very young, but he didn't look like second coming of anything. He is further ahead both physically and IQ wise compared to college kids, but I fear he might be just a big nothing in the NBA. Ginobili for example was an athlete, and Mariulionis was just way shiftier and more savy. I hope I am wrong and Kasparas has a great NBA career, but I am not seeing where he excels at NBA level, at least right now I don't.
Also, does this board has mods, I assume yes. I already made Kasparas thread, so could you merge it, please? I just bumped my thread and now I saw that this thread also exist and its been more popular than mine.
