Re: College football playoffs.
Early in the season I picked Texas, Tennessee, Georgia and Ole Miss to make the new college playoff format. I still love Texas to win it all. Tennessee was my second choice. Planned on putting a nice chunk of change on this game, but Ohio State scares the hell out of me.
The only disaster that I see so far that I don't like at all is Boise State getting the first round bye. Committee got that wrong imho.

Yeh I've been thinking about putting some money down on Tennesse as well, I think they cover. Who else we locking in this week?

You really that comfortable with Tennessee? I've loved Tennessee all year. Was planning on putting a large some on them till they paired them up with Ohio State. For some reason I'm scared as hell putting big money on this game. Any other match up I do it. I do like getting all those points though. I also love Texas, especially if Manning is the QB.

Far from comfortable. I think I'm leaning too far into the weather narrative favoring Tennesse and their run game.

Don't forget to vote up top. Made this a poll question also. Only Hermes and I have voted so far. Surprised not more interest for this new college playoff tbh.

I have not seen SMU play this year. have no idea what to do in that game. I need some advice and help with this match up. I just might tease all 4 games and take the dogs.

I think Tennessee has a good value to win it all but seems like Vegas power ratings really like Ohio State. I was surprised to see them set a such high line after the Michigan loss, but they say they would be favorites even against the SEC champs.
The top half of the CFP bracket is stacked, featuring the best three teams in most oddsmakers' power ratings: Oregon, Texas and Ohio State, in varying orders. Barring monumental upsets, oddsmakers believe the team that comes out of the top half of the bracket will be favored in the championship game.
"That half of the bracket is just so much harder than the other one," Ed Salmons, veteran oddsmaker for the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas, told ESPN. "You basically could argue that there are three teams that could be No. 1 seeds."
Oregon and Texas are listed as around +350 co-favorites to win the national championship at ESPN BET and other sportsbooks. Georgia, at +400, is ahead of Ohio State (+500) at ESPN BET, but oddsmakers say that's mostly because the Bulldogs have a seemingly easier path to the championship game, which will be played Jan. 20, in Atlanta.

I don't think the money line is the way I'm going this weekend.

Re: College football playoffs.
Btw there is a lot of chatter about Ryan Day losing his job, sounds like he is gone with an early loss. Lot of talk about Vrabel taking over, which I like as long as Brian Hartline stays. Hartline is the main reason they are recruiting and developing pro bowl receivers every year.

That is one of the stories I've read the past couple days that has scared me out of taking Tennessee for big money this weekend.
