Anthony Black looked pretty great tonight. I was impressed with those midrange jumpers he had. His game is rounding out incredibly nicely for this early.

If Suggs misses any time it’ll be great to see how Black and TDS do as the main scoring options. We may not win, but long term those two will have a boatload of confidence when called upon.

How do you know he has a short leash? We're in dire need of scoring and last in the league in 3pt percentage. I don't buy he has a short leash. I need to see it. He does nothing out there. That's his own doing. He's setting himself to be out the league, or 15th man scrub. I don't care who his dad is.

He has the Gary Harris role - decoy horn option. If he isn’t wide open on that, there’s no second chance for him unless he makes a cut - but his value is stretching the defense on the perimeter so he stays out there in his role.

Great team effort and we did it collectively. But we needed that alpha dog and scoring down the stretch. Without our best 3 players, a loss is not unexpected. But good effort and fight tonight!
That step back while Dort was guarding him was sick.

You're right he needs to keep taking it to the basket even if something negative happens on some plays. He looks like SGA lite when he's aggressive he's passive most of the time.

Great game by everyone.... not named Cole Anthony. Made it a competitive game with now 3 starters missing against the top team in the west and the best defensive team in the league!

IMO Jett's biggest issue of stepping on the court is his defense. Coach Mose just do not think his ability on that end fits what this team does. But still, Jett is not a bust. His time will come. Last season, he didn't play regular season at all. And now? Even with all these injuries, he at least has got a chance to play. That is progress. His time is gonna come. We need his 3 pt shooting, desperately. But he has got to be a complete player and contribute other than shooting. Right now, with Suggs hurt, he has more chance now. But again, his time will come

For some fans, blaming the Coach is just one of steps of the acceptance process that a young player sucks.

Coaches can’t be expected to make bad players good. Mose is a legit COTY candidate right now. He’s been coaching his ass off this season.

I believe in Jett's shooting ability but I don't know if I believe in his overall ability. I think if he got steady minutes, we'd see him make a few threes per game at a solid percentage. But he's one of those guys who can be in the game for 20 minutes and not manage to tick anything in the box score other than a few shot attempts and a foul. You have to have some kind of presence in the game, and he doesn't.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

The problem I got with this, I thought Jett was a scorer who could put the ball on the floor along with his shooting and create his own shot. I've only seen him put the ball on the floor honestly like a few times during garbage times. Shouldn't we seen a flash or two from him so far? I just don't have a good feeling. I'm trying, but I think the front office whiffed.

How are the Warriors down 48 points against the Grizzlies right now?

Make that 51 56-107 in the 3rd.

Oh yeah, I forgot they just got Dennis. It's going to probably take some time for him to figure out the team as the PG.

I agree but i understand his frustration this game. We just couldnt get him the ball in the post when he established good position. So many bad passes/missed opportunities.

Moe thinks every position he’s in is good position. He makes zero effort on defense. FFS he was shouting at Jett for not securing the rebound while as our big man he was at half court trying to streak for a fast break. He was standing in space and not even near a defender for the final 45 seconds. Total POS attitude.

he's definitely very frustrating to watch on the defensive end most of the time. Not always for a lack of effort imo, sometimes its just dumb effort too lol.

Realistically, even if Jett pans out as a player, he won't ever be a guy who's looking to put the ball on the floor for more than one or two dribbles. He's a quick trigger shooter and that's what he will be almost exclusively.

If he is an efficient quick trigger shooter that would be even better because we don't have one of those.
