Son scoring directly from a corner was ridiculous too.

United vs. Spurs feels like the banter club derby at the moment. Entertaining for the wrong reasons.

We are probably going to get pumped by Liverpool at the weekend.

Same Forster that looked like prime Buffon against us :nonono:

Yup. Same Forster Messi wanted at Barcelona after he explicably turned into Oliver Kahn when they played Celtic.

After today’s matches, the top 3 in the table are clubs with the highest GD, each with 18.

All other clubs have single-digit GD including Forest which is in 4th place with a GD of just 4.

But there is one other club with double-digit GD, actually right below the top 3 clubs in the table with a GD of 17.

Somehow though Tottenham is in 11th place and facing 1st place Liverpool tomorrow at Spurs Stadium.

HUGE match, not just for the Spurs but for Arsenal, Chelsea and other title aspirants.

City, I can understand that they’d struggle to defend after Rodri’s injury. But they’re not scoring or generating good opportunities like last season or even earlier this season.

Never seen a good team implode like this middle of the season. I wonder if players are trying to push Pep out.

The issue is they don’t have a reliable defensive midfielder.
Gündogan, Silva and Kovacic are far worse than Rodri against the ball.
If they sign a competent DM in January they‘ll be back to winning in no time.

I definitely agree that this is the main issue, but it seems like there could be something more going on here. They've still got a star studded roster.

I wonder who they'll get in Jan to try and solve the CDM problem

Yeah this type of poor run cant be pinpointed on a single player, Rodri is a big loss but it is not like they replaced him with a lawn chair.

What's happened to both City & Spurs this season? Not that I'm going to complain.

With Spurs it's a combination of things. Not being that good to begin with, clown manager, injury crisis at GK and CB, lack of quality investment, etc.

City have just inexplicably fallen off a cliff.

xG in this match is gonna be wild. Feels like Liverpool have come close to scoring every time they've touched the ball.

This stupid kids football we play with acres of space in behind the fullbacks, playing out suicidally, it simply isn't sustainable. Teams figured it out over a year ago, and Ange won't adapt. It's only going to end one way.

I did captain Salah in FPL this weekend. So, silver linings and all that.

This feels a lot like the game last season where Spurs were 4-0 down and brought it back to 4-2 after the game was already over. 3-6 is a mad scoreline. Just footballing carnage.

It's time for 5 refs.

That's one way of putting it.

And we have you twice in the cup in the coming weeks. Another 20 goals coming.

Glad to see the club right the wrong from last year at Spurs.

That's an understatement, I watched them 4 times this season and each time a team in their game either scored or came very close to scoring at least 6 times.

I hope they keep Ange at least thru their Europa league campaign.

Sorry to disagree but Gündogan is pretty much a lawn chair on defense.

Rodri is the single most impactful player on City roster. I am not surprised at all they struggle without him.
