Jazz, Blazers, & Kings up next. Very winnable games. We could be 14-17 to start 2025

Add to George Paul to the long list of past their prime/washed and/or injury prone "stars" that came here...

Webber, Brand, Bynum, Harden, George

Only good one was Jimmy, and we let him go.

The Podcaster wants to be in LA. Send him to the Lakers.

In all seriousness, the Fraud GM did everything he did for a 34 year old injury prone podcaster that has always had loser vibes.

Let that sink in for everyone.

Anyways, great win Today.

PG looked good to me. He was playing good defense, took care of the ball, and was moving around well. His shot just wasn't falling.

Wow, just assumed this one was an L and totally tuned it out to focus on Christmas festivities. Gonna have to watch a replay later this week but very pleasantly surprised checking that box score.

I’m all for getting rid of him , but what do the Lakers have that we could use that would work moneywise. I agree Paul George plays about half speed. He’s too worried about looking cool.

At least we picked up a guy who hates the Celtics as much as our fans do.

PG played well except for missing shots. Nurse and Morey need to get him to remove those long 2's from his shot diet. Overall our wing rotation played great defense which is key against this Saltics team.

Winning today puts the final nail in the coffin of the tanking plan. This team should be back to .500 in January, and can make a run after that.

Problem is, the way the CBA is set up makes it very difficult to acquire a star player in their prime if you don't draft them. Usually those players are locked up by the team that drafted them before they even hit free agency, and if they are available via free agency or trade, there is usually a good reason for it. As someone else mentioned, we lucked out in getting Butler who was deemed a locker room cancer while with Chicago and Minnesota, but we know the rest.

With our luck Joel's ankle grew a 2nd foot.

I'm completely rejuvenated from this win. I know that's probably not a smart thing to say out loud, but I love Sixer basketball regardless and beating Boston is always awesome. This team showed what it's capable of when healthy. Not many teams are beating the Celtics in their own gym this year. They're a lock to win 60+ games. It's just so Sixer like of us to go into their house and beat them. Now let's go lose to Utah Sunday night.

Feels so good to beat these guys.

Also enjoyed the GB posters crying like dweebs about Joel while ignoring Push-off JT

Agreed, and they're a good defense. Honestly with all 3 on the court George has the biggest adjustment, but they do enough to try and run his bread and butter plays for him, when in reality Joel and Maxey are maybe even more capable of playing like actual stars without dominating the ball than George... who is proven in that regard in his own right. However George isn't proving he's good enough to put it in his hands over them either consistently.

I don't know man, Harden is having a great year out in LA. He may have gotten the last laugh with Morey. I'd take him over George if I had the choice.

Yep, that’s a massive assumption of healthy Joel and PG.

Also, we’re back to Nurse is playing Maxey too many minutes.
