This team's signature win was beating the Texans, which is not looking overly impressive now.
Hopefully our true signature wins come in the playoffs, but we're not looking ready for the moment. Starts with LaFleur and Jordan. Jacobs setting the tone with the fumble sure didn't help things.

I think it's understated how much missing Watson effected the offense. Having a true deep threat opens up so much in an offense that otherwise isn't there. Similar to how our offense performed when we had MVS vs when he was hurt(we scored significantly more when MVS played). When there isn't a deep threat available it becomes much easier for the defense to clog up the offense. There was a lot that Green Bay could have done to win this game(Jacobs fumble, Reed drop, etc.) but nobody seems to discuss Watson being out.
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Maybe we’re a one and done team but we absolutely did not have a favorable schedule this season.
I mean, their best wins are against the Rams who weren’t at full strength and the disappointing Texans. The schedule has totally been in their favor.
By what definition? They’ve literally had the 4th hardest schedule in the league.
https://www.espn.com/nfl/fpi/_/sort/fpi.avgsosrank/dir/asc
By the definition of when they’ve played teams. Yes, some of the teams on the schedule are considered strong opponents, but at the time the game was actually played it was favorable to the Packers.
Seven of their eleven wins are against teams with losing records. The Rams were 1-3 when we beat them and it was almost a home game in LA. Miami was at home in the cold. So really the Houston and Seattle games were really the only “pick ‘em” games they came out on top.

MLF said in the post-game the Vikings played a lot more man instead of zone and he wasn't prepared for it.

Robert Mays noted this during the game. In their first meeting Minnesota played more zone than in any other game this season. This time they completely flipped the gameplan and played more man than in any other game this season.

Hey Matty, you are allowed to adjust things once the game starts.

MLF's game plan this week for the Vikings was telling the Packers how awesome they were for beating up on the Saints.
Maybe that wasn't the actual game plan but it sure looked like it.

It played a role. But there were some bad coaching mistakes also. Would not have gone for it on that 4th down. Also, we had the ball with 2 minutes left before the half, was a 3rd and 5. MLF and Love decide to go on that badly schemed deep ball, which gave the ball back to MN with plenty of time for them to drive. Then the penalty that allowed a 2nd FG attempt.
This whole year has been filled with dumb mistakes and misfires. You give them this season for experience, but then it has to be worked out by next year.

This specific decision to me is interesting because I'm the opposite, I hate that MLF "took the points" early in this game. I truly think MLF's lack of aggressiveness cost the Packers against Detroit.
That said in this game the take the points or go for it discussion has valid points both ways and both sides can claim that MLF made the wrong decision and it cost them.

well my point is the defense basically held them to 10 points in the first half despite an early fumble and momentum. the defense didn't play great, but they played good enough to win

Love was subpar for 7 quarters. He had a great 4th quarter, but he wasn't great last week, lots of misses and the first 3 quarters he was off as well.
Overall 2 games this season Minny has been the superior team.

MLF said in his post-game news conference that Addison and Jefferson are both legitimate #1 WRs.
MLF bristled when he was asked about whether the Packers had a #1 WR prior to the start of the season.
In looking at the rosters of the two teams, the talent discrepancy at WR might be the biggest gap.

This game knocked my expectations down to earth.
This team is young and plays young. They have a quarter or two where they can beat any team in the league. Yet they don't have the consistency to do it for 60 minutes.
Sure with the talent they have they can potentially win a couple of playoff games, but they still have some work to do. They aren't quite there yet.

My expectations were shattered when they lost to Detroit the 2nd time on TNF
Youngest team in the league, playing young, doing stupid stuff. It is expected but frustrating.
And seeing how Gary and Clark are stealing $$$ pisses me off. No pass rush, no chance.
Hopefully the Wild Card is entertaining. Fully expecting the Eagles to wash the Pack

The Pass Rush was tough to watch. Getting Picked apart today was painful to witness. Just too easy.

I legit had to look up the stats to see if LVN even played. Is he Gute's worst pick at this point?
