I knew we'd eventually be here, but not this early in the season lmao.

Adios Himmy. It's been good but I am now curious when that notif hits because this will be annoying and just more toxic the longer this goes on. At some point you need to let go of the rope, and that time is unfortunately now

I don't know what Pat was thinking. he should have known that he was holding a hand grenade, because at Jimmy's age, every month that passes makes it less likely that he can get a big contract elsewhere. Waiting until the end of the season to become a free agent really was never an option for him.

Easy to imagine if they are the ones that made it a multibillion dollar org to begin with. Warren Buffet is 94 years old and still chairman and ceo of Berkshire Hathaway.

Congrats to him. What a legacy he’s leaving behind as a malcontent me guy. He had a chance to re write that here in Miami, but he’s right back to what he was everywhere else along the way. I’ve never been more embarrassed to be a Heat fan, with this type of stuff going on and him being on the floor. Full stop it’s got to go. I don’t care if he’s traded or not just get him away from the team.

This is unacceptable in so many ways treating the Heat like some poverty franchise, when you were the one who wanted to come here for a culture and standard that was bigger than you. All for him to throw a fit like a child the first time he’s asked to prove something. Pat threw down a challenge and a pathway for Jimmy to get what he wanted. Playing like a top 10 player in the league that gets the money he wants and is currently getting was just too big of an ask from Pat Riley to give.

You know where would Pat Riley be without the great Jimmy Butler? What would his legacy be without a first round win against the Bucks in 2023? Would his 9 championship rings be enough to give him credibility and respect?

I get it Jimmy has been our guys here for a minute we rocked with him, but the notion that he has carried this team to the extent it’s portrayed is ridiculous. First finals run he had Bam, Herro, Goran, Iggy, Crowder, Robinson, and KO a STELLER SUPPORTING CAST that showed up big and carried water. In the next run he an arguably better roster including gems like Vincent, Strus, and Martin who largely carried through the Knicks and Celtics series, that the front office everybody loves to talk down out went out and found and developed. I’m over it all. Get rid of this guy make it clear why we are doing and watch this team start to play much better.

Last thing outside of Jimmy is stop trying to sell me on Bam being some sort of culture keeper or the guy to fill the shoes of UD and Zo. He doesn’t have the balls to check Butler, nobody on the team does. The one guy who I could actually see having that type of approach on this team is eventually Ware

Ware piece at the end has me rollin

He needs to go to a veteran team. We dont need contracts. Bad fit.

Could trade him to the Pels for Zion I guess. Rid both teams of malcontents?

What we don't think about is that Probably jb has been on the trading block for at least one season and the probably are no takers Or the return is not enough

Yeah, I dont think the goal is to trade him as quick as possible. Weve got another month to figure it out. Jimmy shouldnt play in my opinion as another sprained ankle or two is another gut punch.

First it was oh he’s upset because the team didnt shoot down the initial report (that he himself leaked to Shams) then it was “I appreciate the statement from Riley” that he wasn’t going to be traded. Now the straw that broke the camel’s back is the imaginary officials that implied he didnt play hard. Like a broad looking for any reason to go out the door, for every solution there will be a problem.

Or a battered woman finally deciding to get out of a bad situation?

Hopefully you guys get lucky like Minnesota did a few years down the road getting the #1 pick in a year with a franchise player, but it took going through some D-Lo years to get there.

The collective iq of this fanbase is low as hell, Jesus Christ

Bam literally just checked Jimmy mid game for taking a terrible shot 2 nights ago. The dude is stamped by UD but Heat fans and their agendas need to be pushed I guess.

The second a young guy on the team has a good game the asinine takes begin. Last year Jaime was “a 25 PPG scorer” now Ware is the culture bearer, next Jovic will be a bigger Luka and so on. I remember Heat fans were trading Bam in favor of Yurt

Looks like we should’ve taken the Knicks up on their Bridges offer considering they came for Jimmy first

Listen to Shaq. The conversations are all the same when a star gets a certain age.

It's an unfortunate theme. I know this isn't completely on Jimmy or Pat, but I think it's time for Pat to hang them up.

Yep. I say give Herro and Bam a season to show what they can do as no 1 and 2 options. If it doesn't work out, blow it up. We need someone running the show who is open a to rebuild instead of stubbornly doing the same thing over and over again. Pat at his age isn't that guy.

If you’re seriously going to equate this guy having the highest level of success in his career and collecting 230M in the process with being a “battered woman” then I really hope these are your last few days on this team forum too.

It will be.

So, if a guy has some good times with a woman and even gives her a bunch of expensive gifts and money, she can't be battered? That's an odd way to think.

Any chance she was also abusive in this terrible analogy?

The next door down is Micky Arison. Pat won’t stop until he burns this to the ground.

This whole “waiting on the next big thing” is getting absolutely annoying. They don’t have the assets to pull this off regardless.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Jimmy thing isn’t also because he’s had to play with this same core for years with little to no interest from the FO to actually make win-now deals. Roster has grown stale and even Jimmy is bored of it.
