If the Heat FO had any foresight, they would’ve traded Jimmy into Philly’s cap space this past offseason and taken the 2-3 FRPs + cap flexibility. Now good luck getting either of those in a deal.

Well, a potential asset in Houston is out. Miami needs to make sure Butler doesn't get hurt, they need to send him home.

I don't think they know what victory is like so they keep eagerly trying to justify anything possible as a victory lap and it just looks so bad on them haha.

After we win enough to convey and keep our 2028 first rounder, trade Herro/Bam for a bevy of picks. Need the full on rebuild if we’re ever going to compete in this decade

Bobby Marks reinerated what MettaWorldPanda been saying all along. The best option is for the Heat to not do any trades and ride the season out and to send Butler home. That the best option is getting the cap room from Butler walking.

Does that mean we’re comfortable with losing our 2028 first rounder then? Without butler in lineup that’s the likely case
