I’m loving how every player is playing except Cam… he really needs to be the player we go to when we need a spark off the bench when down 15+points in the 2nd half.

I’ve been saying it for a while, he’s not a guy you can trust to come in and give you consistent production and that’s what we need when Brunson is on the bench… a guy that can come to defend and not be reckless for 10mpg

Don’t think he’s there yet but he def will be… he needs to keep playing in the league and hopefully he’s someone that can play 10mpg towards March

Reminds of the offense Thibs used to with the Bulls with all the cutting and movement in the paint.

First time I’ve seen in awhile that Thibs has directed them to hunt mismatches, the way Mikal started off the game kinda set the tone so far.

Thibs used to run a lot of triangle actions with the bulls. It’s kinda like that but instead of working through the post it’s the dribble drive. Get deep into the paint and can’t finish, find a cutter.

Brunson made some crazy shots but they take a lot of work and are kind of a big injury risk with the violent step through

Concerns me

That’s pretty much been his play style for ever. The only real concern with him is ankle injuries when mixing around in the paint. He’ll have plenty of bruises tho

thats the big difference between KAT and Randle...KAT doesn't have to have the ball to be impactful. He is more than fine taking what defense gives him and taking backseat and picking his spots. But he will rebound and he won't complain about it.

Except KAT last season wasn't nearly as aggressive on the boards as he is here. Thibs is asking KAT to be the best version of himself and he's delivering, but no one was expecting KAT to dominate the defensive boards like this.

It's why Randle's rebound numbers are down this year. Finch slotted him in KAT's role, and it just doesn't work that way because he's not KAT.
