I’m hoping for a massive haul for Bam.

Hopefully he doesn’t tank his value before that happens.

What I’m hoping for.

Don’t see that happening despite his struggles, he’d have to be like this all year for them to start thinking about it.

Nobody regresses this much randomly, gotta be something personal or mental going on

His replacement is already on the roster

The team is a lottery team with him anyways.

He’s their only high value asset

maybe its time for point forward bam again. i remember him flirting with triple doubles before when he had a high usage and shoot that 3 if they are giving him space. beat that into his head until he wakes up :banghead:

It's not complicated. Stop treating the NBA like a soap opera. Players want money and winning. Nothing else matters.

We haven't won anything since Lebron left. Also there is no way star players can make more money here with the new CBA. In reality they will be losing 50+ to come here, then factor in how we treat Jimmy, they wont make up that money here.

Anything? Seriously?
We "Won" TWO Eastern Conference Championships!!
Please name teams that did that during that span.
If it's only the rings u go by (which is quite childish tbh), how many teams "won" since LeBron left here? We've done pretty well considering we got back stabbed. Where are the Bulls since Jordan left? Lol

I noticed this season he is also not smiling, joking around anymore.

Maybe the change of role? he doesn't have "joy" in his game right now.

Just a bad game w/ ppl getting traded soon. Is Love getting traded too? That can be a blow.

Eh, why TF was Rozier starting? Spo put that damn ballstopper in the bleachers. He messes the flow alll the way up.

A couple talented young guys that have been mentioned on this board in Butler trades have went down...
J.Smith Jr went down the other night.

I would think Miami wants to get Butler moved before this 6 game west coast trip is completed and it looks like both of these young players won't be healthy by then.

I actually do like Kuminga but he needs to get paid. And when he gets paid, that would end all cap flexibility.

And he is not a number 3 on a good team.

Injury sucks.

If Jimmy wants to be mad at another person, perhaps it should be his buddy Kyle Lowry. Lowry was 35 when he signed his Heat deal, and proceeded to fall off a cliff essentially from the second he signed it. Is it any wonder that Heat management may be second guessing a 4/200 extension?

I would’ve thought opting in for 50m next season and negotiating a 2/80 extension or something would’ve been a pretty fair outcome. Hell, look at Paul George this season after signing his deal - he has been trash too.

Adebayo might be the biggest loser in this Butler fiasco. He comes out squarely in the crosshairs.

Oof.

But he can defend all 5 positions!!!

Has always hid behind his defence & is used to excuse & justify his lack of aggression on offence.

He can no longer hide behind Jimmy’s offence & is forced to step up on his absence. Bam must be feeling the pressure further
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

I think we all need to relax. We’re always frantic & stressed out after every loss. We’re fielding young players that are still learning & developing. Herro has just begun to play better & smarter while Bam is sh*tting his pants lol. Spo has the task of tinkering & figuring this all out esp. w/ Jimmy’s departure. Ya’ll are expecting way too much. This will be a process. Patience is key. This ain’t no big 3 era (thank god)

Our two Olympic guys both having their offensive games disappear is something interesting to note.

Jimmys departure short circuits Herros development

All of his off-ball improvement (2 dribbles or less) stuff get reduced because they need him on the ball more w/o Jimmy

Herros gonna face double teams like he never has going forward and he doesn’t possess the ball skills or the iq to be able to deal with that properly

He already is a turnover machine but that’s gonna get worse now

There’s no point guard on the roster with Dru Smith gone. Haven’t had one since Goran left since Lowry was slow and old

Jimmy is upset that he no longer is the focal point of our offense, and that we no longer catered our playbook to him….

Well then, what does he think is going to happen when he gets traded to another team, who will likely be looking for that “missing piece” but already has their go to players. His days of being the man on a team, or a player that teams look at as a main building block or someone to cater to are over. He is officially a high level vet these days, but wants to continue to get that star treatment, have a playbook that caters to him, and wants to make money as if he were still a superstar. Unfortunately, we last saw that guy two years ago…

He will have stints of greatness, I am sure, just like Wade did his last two years here, that still does not mean he is worth over 50 million and to have a whole team cater to him.

Spo is trying to feature one guy. Whether that's to increase his trade value, or the Heat really think they can build around him, I have no idea.
