Mat Ishbia clearly has no issues lighting lots and lots of money on fire. He bankrolled that hilariously outrageous Mel Tucker contract a few years back for MSU (alma mater). So yeah I imagine he doesn't give two **** about whatever tax hell he puts them in.

“Make any team a contender”? What about the Miami Heat?

You need joy and wonder and whimsy to make the Heat a contender I suppose?

Yeah, this is all becoming so bizarre.

Shh…don’t talk so loud about our owners Edens, Dinan and Haslam. We’re running the fourth highest payroll in the league for a team only two games over .500, while still paying a four year contract for a coach we fired that was 30-13 in his first year.

Well done. I’d do this deal. Only issue is Detroit is the key to everything. Do they take Pat simply for a 2031 2nd.

Yes, well done if you're Phoenix. The Bucks, despite all the negativity, have a shot at winning the title with the current roster (assuming a healthy KM).

They have no shot if that trade is made. Bradley effing Beal? He makes KM look like an iron man.

For what we’d give up, are you expecting prime Michael Jordan to walk through that door?

His deal doesn’t give up our 2031 first, but rather gets one from PHX. Plus two decent young players.

As for Beal, when he plays he’s got more in the tank than Midds at this point.

Beal has more in the tank? Middleton has only played 268 minutes this year yet is twice the VORP of Beal. I obviously like the Dunn part, but not enough to make up for how much better Mids is in the playoffs than Beal, not to mention the contract difference.

Seems like we're giving Bobby a way for free. Getting a pick is nice, but now we have no salary slot to send out with it to get anybody.

Do we need to keep saying Griffin was 30-13? He literally wasn't even present. The Bucks were 30-13, despite Griffin being gone to attend to personal matters.

They're under .500 sense then. It's been a year. Believing the Bucks can sit on their hands and win a title is an extremely outdated take.

Taking a chance is a requirement now and any chance available to us is going to come with a high level of risk.

What are the cap ramifications if jimmy is a rental?

Lets say we do that midds/portis for jimmy trade while dumping pat, then jimmy leaves, brook is a ufa. Do we have a lot of cap space then?

Tell us when Midds is getting better. Right now we’re in Lt. Dan territory.

Butler is such a diva ****. The Bucks are not a contender as currently constructed and need to shake **** up though. Trading Midds and Bobby for Butler would definitely accomplish that.

If it's Midds and Bobby without the 1st...do it yesterday.

Bradley Beal is one the worst players on the suns and is hurt just as much, if not more than Khris.

Somebody smarter than me let me know if our defense is real or is it just because we play at a turtles pace limiting possessions which in turn limits scoring opportunities. I know our schedule has been soft for a while too so that might be playing a part in it.

I am old enough to remember when the Buck's center rotation was Kevin Duckworth/Benoit Benjamin.

But Beal and Dame both on the Bucks at the same time would be my all-time low point as a Bucks fan. Just the thought is vomit inducing.

That’s perfect. I want Butler just to make fun of Miami. Of course they will probably get the last laugh in 2031 but I’m assuming Trump gets us all killed by then anyways

Yep. It was really exciting when they won the Cup. But since then all the problems are still here.
