Seems like we're giving Bobby a way for free. Getting a pick is nice, but now we have no salary slot to send out with it to get anybody.

Tell us when Midds is getting better. Right now we’re in Lt. Dan territory.

He's good right now. He'll average over 20 in the playoffs, with high rebound and assist totals. His per 36 stats are still outstanding. You're worried because they load managed him for that tough Raptors game?

The team as it is just not being good enough to be a contender is a disaster after everything that was spent to get here, we’re at the end of the rope so I don’t see the downside of taking big swings at this point.

Pat is not going to give Butler what he wants. He is going to what's best for his team. Don't want Beal.

Big if he can make it through the playoffs.

Fwiw I was the one informing the Bucks not to trade for Jimmy Butler.

I’d be less worried about Middleton if we weren’t so reliant on Brook, Bobby and Prince.

We need some guys in the front court not named Giannis who can move.

And I actually think there’s a good chance Khris can be a Robert Horry for us in the playoffs. But we would still need a major change.

Butler yes. Beal ewwww, Beasley is 90% of what Beal would be on this team for 50M a year less...

If we trade Middleton for a guy with a similar injury history who's like one year younger and 4 inches shorter (not to mention who's played in 9 playoff games in the previous 6 seasons combined), what exactly do we expect the outcome to be?

Beal doesn't check any boxes and would have all the same issues as in Phoenix

Beal and Dame would be the laziest most not give a **** backcourt of all time too

He's made it through 8 of the 9 playoffs in his career. Unless your planning on playing in a Waterpark, I'd say the odds of him slipping on a wet floor aren't that high.

Riley and Spo resuscitating Khris’ trade value as a top option in their offense is part of where I could see this happening.

Miami would love Bobby too.

Bam is the perfect center for that front court.

This would be a steal... Butler is a monster in the gym... great fit with fellow gym rats Dame and GA.. Those 3 with our rotation pieces will F people up.. might have to stagger the big 3 some but we're already used to it

Also I'll give him the max we can offer.. he's a TS monster too .. higher efficiency now than he's ever had .... 35 for a gym rat isn't old ... cats like this have skills trainers, dieticians and personal trainers in the off season

Yeah, I don't want it to happen, but if the Bucks do decide to move on from Middleton and either Brook or Bobby, there are certainly worse places you could send them to than South Beach with their HGH factory.

Sounds like Kerr wants Butler.

Read on Twitter

“I can’t sit here after that and be excited about anything,” Kerr said. “[Trayce Jackson-Davis] scored 19 points. Great. He’s having a good season. But who the hell cares if we’re not competitive? If we don’t have a competitive spirit, a fight, and a willingness to compete through everything. I'm not gonna sit here and talk about any so-and-so had some points. Great. Who cares? It's about us competing. Being the Warriors. Being the team we've been for 10 years and not feeling sorry for ourselves. That's what I'm thinking about tonight.

If Jimmy really hates Milwaukee, as he has hinted, & now requests no trade... You cannot do that move. It will blow up in your face. He's shown what he does as a malcontent.

Dame has 2 years left including his player option. Butler is a year older and I'm not giving him a new long term deal that would go beyond Dame's current deal. Khris either for that matter. I'm not paying 40 year old Butler

So is the plan to let Dame walk in 2 years or is he going to be looking for another deal too? I’m leaning towards just paying Jimmy because I simply think he’s a better fit than Dame and want to be a defensive oriented team again. We’re already at the end of the rope and I don’t think it’s going to get better with Dame so I’m not really worried about the downside here. If there’s a better deal for Dame I’m all for it but I think he’s gotta be the one to go to improve the team.

If Dame goes who is your PG?
I would trust Jimmy to bring the ball up before I would trust our current point guard to do so.

Horst get Jimmy now ... Trade Khrs plus Brook plus 31 1st (get under 2nd appron and do it)

The Dame, AJ Green, Butler, Giannis, Portis lineup wins us a ring.

Even if Jimmy leaves in summer ... Its fine cause its like we get off Khris salary a year earlier

So they would not ‘have it all’? Or would they?

Sounds more like Jimmy Butler would feel about as similar in GSW as he did in Minnesota where the competitive spirit wasn’t up to his standards…. Maybe Andrew Wiggins is the X factor here and he gets moved for Butler anyway but Miami isn’t taking Wiggins contract and there’s really no other way to make that work for GSW unless you’re including Draymond.

It’s becoming comical that all these teams that are showing interest in Butler just think they can dictate the outcome of this trade like Pat Riley isn’t just as equally as shrewd as Danny Ainge when it comes to this stuff and the contracts teams are trying to get rid of are the anti contracts Pat Riley wants to add to his books….

I’ll give Horst some credit here with how crappy our salary situation looks on paper and us being a 2nd apron team, our path to a mega trade looks way cleaner than these other teams we are theoretically competing against - LAL, Phx, GSW, Denver….
