No Multiple All-NBA 1st Teams Draft SF1 - wackbone vs. MadNESS*

Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.

1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.

Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups. Once the writeups are posted, I will add a poll, and the team with the most votes after 24 hours will advance. EACH MANAGER SHOULD ALSO VOTE FOR THEIR OWN TEAM IN THE POLL - IF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS, YOU ARE SIMPLY GIVING AWAY A VOTE. If the votes are tied, we will decide the matchup via AI vote.

You are not required to state or explain your vote, but you are free to comment in the thread if you want to.

If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on their roster page).

This is the match up we’ve prepared and been waiting for!

GL Wack

Short and sweet so it’s read!

We have the defensive bigs to guard Ewing!!!

Literally we have 8! DPOY awards between Gobert and Ben Wallace.

We shut down Ewing, we have a good series.

Our perimeter attack is the best in the draft.

I have 48 minutes of legit starters from PG, SG, and SF. No role players here.

Very good balance and ball movement from my team, no "ball hogs".

Draymond is the ultimate 4 who can distribute and hit open shots when needed. He can defend Peja well, with Klay on Jones.

Spacing is elite with Conley, Drazen, Klay, Thabo and even Roy.

Joe Dumars (20) / Alex Caruso (18)
Herb Jones (30) / Joe Dumars (18)
Peja Stojakovic (38) / Grant Williams (10)
Patrick Ewing (38) / Chris Andersen (10)

Writeup:

Helluva team Ness, best of luck!

Defensively we will start with Kyrie on Conley, Dumars on Drazen, Herb on Klay, Peja on Draymond, and Ewing on Gobert. Caruso is another excellent defender off the bench to guard any of Ness's perimeter stars.

Main points:

I'd contend we have the edge in top-end firepower, with Peja and Ewing both being top 5 in MVP voting in the chosen season.

Ness has 0 frontcourt offensive threats which will both allow Ewing to freely protect the paint and allow Peja to hide. This also generally doesn't allow for the BEST fitting offense if all of your firepower is on the perimeter.

In contrast, we have Kyrie/Dumars on the perimeter, Peja on the wing, AND Ewing down low. Yes, Ness has excellent frontcourt defense, but none of them are scoring threats whatsoever.

Both teams have great depth, defense, and spacing. I just think we have a higher ceiling offensively.
