Re: The 905, 'sauga world
We have 8 guys (the 5 rookies, Gradey, Ochai, Lawson) that are eligible to be sent down.
Is there a max number we can send down at one time? Maybe we're saving it for a potential playoffs.
II wonder how the other guys on the 905 feel about that.

905 win. Boys held their own despite the 3 Raptor call ups.
This team is super deep now (for a Gleague team).
Lawson & Chomche played well from what I saw.

Box score from today's game. Get Walter/Mogbo/Battle there if they're not gonna play with the big squad.

13 assists for Kaminsky. He is doing a great job being a hub at high post. It's exactlty what they brought him in for.

They're gonna trade Olynyk and bring him up.

Chomche is improving at a rapid pace. I could see him being a decent 3rd string big next year. In year 3 and 4 he'll be a staple in the line up.

If they can get rid of Kelly, yes, Kaminsky would be ideal, also from the perspective of keeping a lid on wins in March and April.

Yup. I think he will stay down this season, then next season we will see the treatment most rookies get (shared time between 905 & the big club). Year 3, stay with club.
It will be fun following his career.

Re: The 905, 'sauga world
I think the Raptors should continue to draft guys in the mold of Walter, Mogbo & Shead. Guys with natural motors & defensive instincts.
Then put together a really strong shooting program on the 905. Have elite shooting trainers available for these guys 24-7.
Maybe they already have this in place.
As we have seen, teams have to stock as many Josh Harts & Dante DiVincenzo's as possible in order to have success in today's NBA. The recipe is 2 or 3 star players & the rest have to be 3 + D.

When you go to watch these guys live, you really notice him. He's longer than everyone else on the floor. Looks huge. He is also very active off the ball. Screening, rolling, sprinting the floor, establishing position on a post up. All goor habits & all of these little things help those around him get their games off. Even though he isn't scoring , he always seems like one of the more imposing/ impactful players on the floor. All of this off the ball activity helps others around him.
I have also noticed lately that he has developed a nice little hook shot within 10 feet & has had some success with it. Whenever he hits it, I always think it was another player because I am not expecting him to look so smooth/ competent shooting that shot.

Re: The 905, 'sauga world
I watched the game on YouTube and whenever he was on, we built a lead, when we was off the lead evaporated. We almost choked the game away down the stretch while he was on the bench for the last few minutes. He gets a lot of blocks, switches well on the perimeter, but most importantly, guys think twice about taking shots at the rim when he's in there. He's a good deterrent.
I've seen huge strides in his defensive awareness and poise since the beginning of the season. Hopefully he keeps going in the same direction.

Chomche will be even cooler when he fills out, when he gets his man strength. Hopefully we teach him some drop steps, left n right shoulder hooks, and a little 10-15ft jumper.

The Raps called up battle, mogbo and Walter but they didn't play a min vs warriors. What the heck? I thought this year is about development
No need to call them up, just let them play with thr 905
