Also I set the time window for a pick to 3 hours since this is only a two round draft plus the picks here may take some planning because you're basically preparing half of your team. Also, the clock stops at 11:00 p.m. You are of course encouraged to pick as soon as you can rather than using all your clock, when possible.

I think forcing us to declare the four players when we pick could've made the top picks have less of an advantage.

I personally think the third pick is pretty advantageous in this but I wanted the experience of picking a team and knowing I’ll get one of three teams for my next team. Seems like a more fun way to do this draft even if the odds of winning may be lower.
