JD is already a top 3 QB now.
I guess Mahomes, Allen and Jackson all retired? You then have Burrow and Herbert who should be ranked above Daniels. I get he had a great year but let's pump the brakes. I remember people saying both Love and Stroud were going to be top 5 QBs after their seasons.

I hate the Chiefs but Mahomes had a much better rookie season 5000 yards, 50 TDS, 66% completion both a offensive rookie and MVP award. Daniels is in that 6-10 range where ever you want to fit him with Hurts, Goff, Stroud, Love

That technically wasn't Mahomes rookie season. I get that it was the first season he actually played.

Probably. People always point out Mike Ditka but who the hell knows what type of football they played when he was a rookie.

I just looked up Mike Ditka's rookie numbers. More than 1,000 yards and 12 TD's in 14 games on a team that threw for 2600 yards total. Pretty impressive.

I would put Jayden head of Jackson because Daniels is a better passer at 70%. Jayden also has a better deep ball.

Not a rookie and not even his first year. Mahomes only had a 76 QB rating his first year.

What are we doing here putting rookies who had a great season over a 3x league MVP.

Jackson had 600 more yards, almost 2x the passing touchdowns (41 vs 25). Daniels had 15 more completions and 2.3% better completion percent. Daniels isn't better than Allen, Burrow, Jackson or Mahomes

Jayden Daniels is not only the greatest NFL rookie QB ever, but he might be having the greatest rookie season ever in any sport. Could be up there with Magic.

Some would argue if Daniels doesn't win the Super Bowl, then his season went just like Caleb Williams' season.
