If they can find a way to get rid of Carter, I’ll consider this season a success.
If you see something suspicious, say something suspicious.

He cannot be traded until April, which essentially mean we have him until the end of the season.

The time to trade him was last season at this time.

I really wonder what exactly was said to get WCJ an extension? What did he do last season that made us what to extend him?

Mosely said “I’m gonna get you paid young man” and pushed Goga back to 3rd string center so he could get paid like a starter.

Now we have to watch his goofy ass never live up to that money. Pray there is a team that will take him.

He is Cole... but a more consistent version of good-Cole. Exactly what we could use off the bench.

He’s much much better than Cole Anthony. Common now….

You all need him starting after what that offense looked like, not coming off the bench.

You need reliable offense to win to expand margins of errors.

And also when you grind out and you still are losing, or have hardly any lead, due fact you can't score at all, your effort will go down as well eventually because people get frustrated and make more errors.

We scored 79 points, talking about defense is silly. You can't keep somebody under 70 points in modern era, teams score 30 points a quarter.

Tonight is obviously an extreme example offensively speaking.

But they still won plenty of games and were competitive in almost every game with not very good offense this year on the back of high end defense and rebounding.

The defense is no longer high end. It's not even good right now. Combine that significant drop off defensively with the still poor offense and you have one of the worst teams in the league at the moment.

My brother in christ you just posted your "How WCJ got his new contract that he didn't deserve" fanfiction in the GT. What exactly did you expect the response to be? Debate about it?

Yeah, that move would be too desperate and financially strapping. Simons is a much cheaper risk for the same gain.

Or make some big consolidations and get Fox if we’re gonna take on a larger contract.

I know... but I'm so desperate to see the FO improve our offense. Lavine has a TS% of 64% on high volume. Mo was at 65% and Goga is at 64%. Everyone else is BELOW league average (57.4%). Jesus.

Well if you are gonna ask…

How else did Carter get paid when Goga thoroughly outplayed him last season when he returned from injury?

Seriously. He’s been bad for 2-3 seasons now.

Goga was clearly the better player and they still sent him back to DNPs. Why? Because he was in a contract year. Now 15 games into the season and Goga is miraculously taking his starting role after giving him a contract.

So what? NOW Mosely sees Goga is the better player? Yeah ok.

The defensive rating tonight was 105.2. That's not bad.

Cole is pretty awesome when he is scoring efficiently as much as I don't like his game.

Lavine would be perfect and he has turned himself into an average defender from what I've seen. He is so much better than Simons, but I just do not know how that salary would work unless they found a way to unload Isaac and Caldwell-Pope. I would do that if it were possible BTW, but I don't think they would.

They just aren't going to add another max contract.

I agree. I think since his contract is short term at this point it's a little different, but yeah I agree. I'm mostly just saying Lavine would be a really good fit.
