LAC Bobby

Bucks get Levine and a back up center. If we have enough cap space maybe take back Craig as a back up 4.

Chicago gets a little bit of cap space next year with PJ being an expiring and then out of Levines 3rd year.

LAC While I don't know how much LAC would want another headcase looking for a contract extension they basically buy another 12 million dollar expiring next year.

What assets are we getting in the Portis trade?

Why are we giving up a 1st for Lavine when everyone else is asking for a 1st to take his contract?

To be fair, that was last year when he was injured and his value was viewed as bottomed out. This year, things look fairly different in comparison. Bulls aren’t going to exchange an asset to move his contract. They rightfully see the market value he’s carrying and how it’ll bring them assets in return if a trade deal is reached.

I don't think we'd need to deal a first for LaVine.

Jimmy I think we would -- though not unprotected. And maybe we do what the Suns did and convert it into multiple picks first.

Beal

I’m not so sure about that; in fact, I doubt it.

Are we sure AJ Green is out for an injury and not because he's being traded? A friend in Florida who's a big hoops nut just randomly texted me his name.

there is no way in hell were gonna pay more for jimmy butler than we did dame. no effing way that pick is going out. even if we included our second thats a joke

I don't think people understand that there's no market for Jimmy. Miami has no leverage.

Can the Lakers tell AD that Bobby is the center he's been dying for?

Warriors, Clippers, Miami, and Memphis are my favorites.

Also, what's the dumb enough stuff about?

Are Bucks fans aware that Giannis/Bobby lineups have now outperformed Giannis/Brook lineups? Yet we never see the same energy against Brook, despite Bobby consistently needing to anchor bench lineups.

Is there a frontcourt replacement big/tweeter who’s within a similar or slightly cheaper salary slot as Bobby that you’d like to see targeted by the Bucks as a replacement for Bobby? Someone who’s probably more well rounded as a two way (O & D) player.

…or do you think the Bucks are best off sticking with Bobby and trying to platoon his bench role with a cheap young athletic and defensive-minded frontcourt presence; the aim being to substitute him for Bobby in bad Bobby & possibly Brook matchups. If so, do you have any names in mind?

The duo I'd like is Robert Williams and Dalano Banton. Williams splits the center minutes with Brook, while Banton eventually replaces Prince and is part of a 3 forward rotation with Giannis and Khris.

Williams makes a tick less than Bobby, and Banton can be acquired using the minimum salary exception.

Maybe we are only giving up Bobby, Beauchamp, Connaughton to facilitate the deal and can come away with Nurkic and Richards…

And nothing. Maybe he's just pulling my chain.
Miami has so many shooting guards I couldn't see them wanting him anyways.

Guarantee Charlie Villanueva would come out for retirement for that role. He’d be perfect as long as Adam Silver would allow him his phone on the bench

I want nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with Nurkic. He's long past his prime and seems to be an issue for teams.

Don't see any move out there that does anything but move us laterally. The hope at this point is you are healthy in the playoffs and your two all time greats play like it for 16 games right?

Yep, he's not a throw in. But he's 25, how much better is he going to get?

Green is a special shooter and keeping him should be a high priority.

Lavine > Middleton...Very Simple

Best ability is availability.

Trust Lavine being able to stay in front of tatum and Khris.

Plus ShootingtheJ is Khris Middleton himself.

Any interest in one of these four options?

1. Grant & Banton for Middleton

2. Grant & Williams for Middleton and Connaughton

3. Grant, Williams, & Banton for Middleton & Portis

4. Grant, Williams, Banton & Thybulle for Middleton, Portis, & Connaughton.

I'm thinking Portland may need to return a future pick for trades 1, 2 or 3.

RealGM points to you if that happens.

Riley’s Heat also tend to be a launchpad or turn around point for all kinds of players.

If Green were to go there I’d be even more optimistic about his potential as much as that’d suck for us.

That's laughable. Khris is better than Grant now, let alone at what they could be w/ full health, & Grant's contract is twice is long. It's arguably the worst contract in the NBA. How bout you give us back all our 1sts we gave for Dame if we're to take it on.

Grant is a losing player. Don’t go there.
