Why are we talking about D12 and his ability to help us out? He cant.

Just get Vuc if we really want a scoring C. SRPs are his asking price

Is this anything? All of AB's 5 assists were to TDS (3) and Jett (2). I'm looking forward to this core anchoring our bench this season and next.

Is this anything? 3 of his 5 assists came in the 4th quarter with 9 minutes left down 15 points.

That is most assuredly something, good call. 4th quarter AB, at his best when it matters most, etc etc

The FO is playing a game that can turn ugly in the future.

Paolo came out and publicly said he wanted a PG this offseason, the FO proceeded to do nothing. The longer we wait on filling that need, the more Paolo is going to feel unheard by our FO for a need that is so damn blatant and necessary.

Paolo has a mismatch in the point, WCJ is late getting back and instead of stopping at the three point line, brings an extra guy that Paolo doesn't need, Paolo spins and runs into Grant and loses the ball.

Then another play Paolo has a fairly open elbow jumper and KCP is rotating around TOWARDS Paolo giving him another defender he doesn't need contesting.

A few Paolo and Franz turnovers are just from WCJ randomly running in next to them and one was defenders literally leaving Anthony Black and WCJ and Joseph wide open to commit three on ball.

Ton of plays where we have an open shot and pass one or two more times for some last second shot for no reason.

It's just impossible to get consistent offense with nobody respecting our shooting rn. Obviously Paolo needs to play better and finish better as well but it's kinda sad watching WCJ run around having no place on the floor since he's not comfortable inside or outside.

What is away based off? What’s the goal? Looks like ball handler sets up really close to half court to stretch the defense then they waste four passes for no reason only to wind up with a contested shot or turnover.

It's movement and passing for the sake of movement and passing that leads to a dwindling shot clock often. We need an offensive coordinator (and a shooting coach) badly.

It reminds me of playing NBA 2K online with randoms.

Some players hate the idea of not moving, and instead move with no intention in mind. This makes it alot harder when lets say Paolo draws a double or triple team but the player who came to help cut too early so Paolo cant hit them open at 3 or with an easy cut for a layup.

Basketball can be simple at times. If you're killing your matchup 1 on 1, then someone will help. Then move the ball to the person whose helping. If someone else helps, keep moving it. If they run zone, throw a couple different looks, and most importantly make your jump shots (which we cant do)

Movement like that works when you’ve got a threat to pull up from 3. However no one is over rotating because they’d rather us shoot from 3 and there’s no need for help defense.

We can't shoot 3's at all but most teams have guys that can shoot off of movement. We don't have a single player that I would trust to hit a 3 off of movement. It's spot up bricks or pound the air out of the ball until there is less than 10 seconds on the clock to make something happen.

Imo we need shooters / scorers badly.

We need all of it. The best teams have shooters, scorers, offensive-minded assistants, and shooting coaches.

I don't know about this particular scheme, etc...but I was thinking we do end up with a LOT of possessions that go nowhere until there's less than 5 seconds on the clock. I've always thought that was an indicator of bad (or no) ball movement...odds are pretty good it's one on one (or more) iso when the clock gets there...or, hot potato shot clock violation.

When our offense is firing, it's usually fed with turnovers and speed. I know we can't build our offense around steals, but speed gets to teams before they set up. I think that's THE big reason why ORL went with KCP/Suggs unconventional lineup...but I think it's a lot to count on to any reliable degree. We bury teams quickly when we basically get 3 or 4 offensive possessions in a row, punctuated by a big 3. Haven't seen it in a while - perhaps Suggs really is the catalyst.
