Lol, this board is slow how about dem "Raptors pivoting towards winning Brandon Ingram rumours" via Stein

Would not be a fan - I prefer share the ball players rather than ball dominant players.

They might want too much for Zion. I think they want too much for Ingram too.

I think expirings get it done for Butler now. Bruce Brown, Davion Mitchell, Chris Boucher and Ochai for Jimmy and Keshad Johnson.

PG IQ - Shead - Jakobe
SG Barrett - Dick - Jakobe - Temple
SF Jimmy - Barrett - Battle
PF Scottie - Mogbo - Keshad
C Poeltl - Olynyk - Chomche

Wow we still have enough players!

Doesn't necessarily have to be Zion but any star that wants out and that we can get out and we can get for some picks. Because this team is not good enough to compete and they are not bad enough to get a decent pick. Fox is available as well, I would try to upgrade and maybe we can compete.

Small sample size, but my eyes think they see this duo dominating in both sides of the ball when together

Far from domination, but quite good on d.
Of the Raptors 2-man lineups which played more than 170 minutes together (Scottie & Brown played 174), they’re second in DRtg, but one of the worst in ORtg.

Ok you win

Substitute dominate with looking good haha

It's been discussed pretty thoroughly in the trade deadline thread.

A Barrett for Ingram trade would be a winning deal for us. If he sits out the season we can also successfully tank.

Poeltl / Maluach / Ivisic
Barnes / Mogbo / Chomche
Ingram / Agbaji
Dick / Walter
IQ / Shead

That could be a competitive roster and probably makes us better than Detroit (playoff level).

Barrett, Olynyk, and POR 2nd. We'd shed enough money to stay below the cap.

Ingram is a solid first option creator.

No legitmate Star would want come to us until we have proven that we can compete. And at the earliest that will be next season unless we pull one of the greatest win-streaks of all time this season (which is doubtful).

I am baffled. I hear constant tank talk cause we need assetts and all that and then i read that its good to through away an assett (RJ) for a liability (ingram).

Nebby is one of those trollish types who look for every opportunity to bash the board and demean our intelligence. Don't take away his only reason for living.

On second thought, RJ sitting out the season probably makes us better

At the end of the day adding a top 5 pick and Ingram next season would make us a better team. If we can do it for an expendable piece like RJ it's a good move.

I dont have the same faith in Ingram as you have. I have no problem moving RJ as long as we get something of value. Ingram isnt that for me. Beeing available is very important and sadly Ingram isnt reliable in that department.

Bought for the 29th pick, if we can sell him for a mid 1st between 2027 - 2029 that would be a big W trade for us.

Might as well get off of Nurkic's contract if Jimmy is off the table

Was looking up stats and Ty Jerome really is playing damn well. Cleveland presumably can't afford to keep him and he's gotta take the biggest offer around. Might be an interesting breakout guy even though he's already 27. Played well in Golden State last year, playing really well this year.

Probably makes more sense for a team with less guard depth, like the Clippers or Hornets. But if you go by the math, he's definitely worth the non-tax MLE this summer.

Was a really good college player, so it's not totally out of the blue.
Where's the D?
