Game 46: Bucks at Spurs - 1/31/25 - 7:00 - FDSWI, WMLW

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Thu Jan 30, 2025 1:19 pm

Bucks end the road trip in San Antonio. We whipped the Spurs in Milwaukee earlier this month. With a Memphis/OKC B2B coming up Sunday/Monday we need this one. Spurs are 2-8 in their last 10.

This game is OTA in the Milwaukee area on WMLW.

As usual, please keep the posts in this thread on this game only and limit the posts on trades and transactions to the team thread. Thx.

Need a rebound game, and rebounds in general. Hopefully the one-day cushion puts back some juice in the old legs.

Need to finish 2-2 on this road trip. Which ultimately is disappointing but the fact we beat Danny Ainge and Chris Paul is an underlying successful trip for me.

Longtime lurker and Texas correspondent here. I will be making the trip from Austin to San Antonio for this game to support the boys, fingers crossed it's my first time seeing Giannis live as he was out the last time I made this trip. Got pretty decent seats too. Go Bucks!

Looking forward to Wemby V Giannis. It was a great match-up last time.

Not looking forward to Brook v Wemby. Wemby will take him from the 3 pt line time and time again.

Where he's Henry Ellenson's backup. He's not close to the NBA.

First time in awhile that we've had Tony Brothers officiating.

Bring the pain to Chris Paul, that is all I ask. Dame needs to abuse him tonight and go for 30+. That’s not what we need to happen to win but it’ll make me happy seeing Dame dump all over Chris Paul. Giannis is a bully when it comes to Wemby, it’s gotta be more on stopping dudes like Devin Vassell and the unheralded Spurs that play their roles within the system. Leaving them open and hoping they have a bad shooting night is a recipe for disaster against any NBA team. Win baby, win.

Need some first-hand confirmation of dem big ole women in San Antonio.

If anyone has ever wondered what Giannis vs Wemby would look like in circa 1988-definition, tonight is their night.

Dame added to the injury report with a groin but he's still listed as possible. Most likely setting it up for him to miss one of the upcoming B2B games with Memphis/OKC.

Sit km till the deadline.. too brittle to risk this possible trade.. the next 2- 3 years depends on this.. wrap him in bubble wrap and let him stay home
