To keep one of the league's biggest stars from going to it's biggest market?

Said in reference to Utah's trade assets in a potential Doncic deal.

AD’s not chopped liver. Lakers would always have gotten a haul for him if they decided to trade him. It’s just the players skill sets and rosters of both teams that makes this trade so head scratching to me. Obviously Luka’s younger but AD has at least 3-4 prime years left.

He’s a great player but he’s turning 32 next month. His prime is just about finished even if by some miracle he stays healthy. If they got Reaves and Knecht along with 32 year old AD then maybe you could live with it

Currently watching Tottenham vs Brentford EPL and the game thread is just people talking about Luka getting traded. Even the wwe fans on reddit were talking about this more than the royal rumble earlier lol. Still doesn’t feel real.

Ugh the ending to the rumble was so bad. The match itself was awesome, but I can't believe they had Uso win it.

Why would you waste time trying to talk LeBron off the ledge when Luka fn Doncic is being handed to you and you need to make a move before the Mavs come to their senses. Anyone with above room temperature IQ pulls the trigger first and answers questions later LMFAO
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

It’s been like 15 years and people still don’t understand why stern was allowed to veto the cp3 trade

You could have gotten Devin Booker who would provide at least some energy vs. an aging AD.

You honestly wouldn't have done Mitchell?

Probably not, no. Mitchell just recently committed to Cleveland long term. If Luka doesn’t do the same, we’re kind of screwed.

It’s just that the trade is so lopsided. Lakers didn’t even include the 2031 first. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I entered the forums this morning.

No matter how many times I've seen it happen over the last 30 years, it's still shocking to me how teams just give the Lakers generational prime talent for way under market value. Hard not to think it's scripted

Lol @ people acting like AD ain't a great player. I think the Lakers just got hustled tbh. Uncle Phil at the pool hall when he broke out Lucile. That kinda hustle.

Why would Dallas want to help LeBron?

You’re a paid LeBron shill. I’ve learned my lesson to never engage in a debate with you, or your many other accounts, because you have no problem with lying if you think it’ll help you win the argument

1. No I’m not.

2. Answer the question. Why would Dallas want to help LeBron?

You just know Luka's going to drop 50 on the Mavs during their next game. And prob every game they play the Mavs really.

The league was the caretaker of the the New Orleans franchise when they vetoed the Chris Paul trade.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy
