I'll really miss him.
AWESOME scorer, try hard at defense (with hit or miss results, admittedly), very good guy all around.
I hope things turn out well for him.
Constantly underwhelmed by the Bulls.

Very good guy and I loved his time here even tho it had its frustrating moments. He's a top 10 bull for sure.

I wish him luck. He's was a good player for us who was expected to be an elite player and could never live up to our expectations.

It's hard to believe he's been here 7 years. the "LaVine Era" has not been a good one, but I think he's a good player and probably a nice guy and I hope him and DeRozan win something somehow. Terrible value in return, right? Like a salary dump? That's better than keeping him around but you probably could've gotten a little bit more I think.

I was a Zach fan but this needed to happen, I feel bad about him going to Sactown with Fox no longer there.

Go well Zach.

It wasn't a good era, but it also wasn't his fault. We had bad coaches and bad rosters for pretty much his entire tenure. I appreciated how professional he was. He really carried himself well and I hope he finds a team that will help him change his image.

More often than not, he was a steady, fun bright spot during a frequently frustrating era of Bulls basketball. I hope he lands on a contender before it's all said and done.

People forget, he signed the offer sheet from the Kings all those years back. He wanted to the on the Kings, so I'm guessing he is relatively happy.

It's certainly not going to be with the Kings, I'll tell you that right now. His only hope of finally being truly appreciated is finally coming to the realization is that he isn't a number one guy, and playing the third fiddle on a good team, which I think he will once he gets to the open market and he isn't getting the type of offers he was hoping for.

I like him, he proved me wrong with how much he improved as a basketball player since being on the Bulls. But for whatever reason, his play just didn't impact winning despite his efficiency, and you can blame the team around him, which would be fair, but the point stands, he was asked to be the franchise player, without being a franchise caliber talent. Which should have been clear as day for the front office, and they should have tried to trade him many many seasons ago, where they probably could have traded him for a much better package, when there weren't so many rules restricted teams that there is now.

I wish him well, and like many other former Bulls, I'll be casually observing how their career unfolds after their time here, but I'm glad that it's finally over and that we can move on and try to find ourselves another franchise player, hopefully this time a legitimate one. And that's not a knock on Zach, there are more than half the league with their best players, despite being great players, aren't true franchise players you could build your team around.
Why so serious?

Lavine Derangement Syndrome should be studied in the future.

Would love to see him on a good team someday as a #2 or #3 option.

The lasting takeaway here when looking back on his time in Chicago will probably be: overpaid but undervalued.

I appreciate his general professionalism (I say general because he had a few moments) because other players in the NBA would've caused problems. He didn't.

Good scorer, but it was time to move on.

I'm still surprised that he's reunited with DDR.

Not much to appreciate. Pretty good example of a type of player not to build around.

Because they offered him 80M and he knew the Bulls would match.

He'll go down in Chicago history as one of our few 10k scorers along with Jordan, Pip, Lu, Love, and Sloan. He's ahead of A-Train. Those are historic Bulls, but he hasn't had many fans here.

I've always been a fan although it was always clear he was a #2/#3 on a great team, and Chicago never acquired that guy.
