Or because it was reported that Curry didn't think he was a good fit here.

I found myself thinking the same thing, and thinking it doesn't seem that long ago that I was saying, "... they've drafted Haliburton, Fox, and Davion Mitchell. Why do they want three lottery pick point guards?" Now they have none of them and we're having to ask who their point guard is.

While some posters here lament that our front office isn't more like them.

Or Curry not being that eager for Butler led the FO to only offer a limited extension, which led to Butler not being interested.

I think Monk at PG is the plan. With a lot of ballhandling from LaVine, DDR and Sabonis. Not sure it's a great idea.

It's tough to be crushed that the Warriors didn't get Zach Lavine. A stay the course plan doesn't look good but most rumored moves (including paying a lot for LaVine) look as bad or worse. Unfortunately I don't see any good options unless some other team does something really stupid to help the Warriors (which I guess is possible).

You can clearly see that Lavine is still a negative contract that nobody wanted to touch unless someone like the kingZ. I don't think people understand the risk of having a neutral player that makes 50m and also playing 50% of the game

So awful for the Kings, they only decent asset they got was the Charlotte 2025 pick.

That pick is protected to the point that it's really a 2nd (or perhaps 2 2nds).

The Minny pick could be interesting down the road, eventually.

I think they were interested in lavine, but needed to wait to include Schroeder. And build just took the immediate offer on the table.

Wiggs, gp2, schroeder, and loon are deadman walking right now.

Oh ****, it’s protected? Thats an awful trade. And as long as Minnesota has Ant they’re at least a .500 team. So it looks like they’re going to get a bunch of mid to late firsts and a GQ Statpad player for Fox. Yikes

Our drafting is hopeless anyway. Atleast our FO can pretend to do something else on draft night.
