Lakers are desperate for a center. Nurkic to the lakers makes too much sense

No GSW offer for KD is very enticing unless the picks blow me away. We’d get better KD offers in an offseason deal for sure.

F the lakers. Why help them out. Pretend like you will trade him till the last day of the trade deadline, then dont do it.

Quick question for Suns fans. How would you guys feel about Beal if a trade leaks out that he ended up flexing his NTC that cost you both Butler and resulted in trading Durant. I saw recently his wife get heckled at a game. Do you think the narrative heightens and just becomes an irreversible awkward situation between him and the fan base?

Beal is a stand up guy. I don’t think there will be ill will against him. Besides, he isn’t the problem. Our owner and GM are problem.

Standing up for an ego driven owner who took a championship team to a .500 club ain’t something you should be braggingly pounding your chest about. Sit this one out hero!

I disagree. I think people will be awful to him (undeservedly). This fanbase is getting very good at creating a toxic narrative around players recently (see Ayton, Nurkic, now Beal) and I dont see that changing if he decides to look out for himself n his family, unfortunately. I hope Im wrong but...

Looking at it from the Heat perspective and now seeing the Durant trade rumors my mind kinda went racing into the realm like damn the Suns fans are going to be relentless if word leaks out he nixed the Butler deal that ends up also losing Durant in the process. Feel like what happened recently with Beal’s wife is just a precursor of what’s about to come for Beal if things go sideways quickly. Obviously Beal is a great dude but fans are fans.

With Shams repeating the same line over and over everyday about Butler to the Suns and now over 4-5 teams involved i’m shocked nobody’s pressed anyone about a potential hypothetical list that Beal would waive his NTC. Just waiting for the first leaked trade that Beal nixes to see the backlash. Something is bound to leak here soon. Just too much smoke. Shams has been pounding the table with Butler to Suns.

If you go through all these pages, a lot of people here want Beal to block the trade because a lot of us don’t see Butler moving the needle for this team.

Hopefully Booker gets his 23 points tonight against the Blazers and becomes the Suns all-time leader in points scored. And then we can trade him and KD. It didn't work out. We took our shot and ultimately failed short of our goal. Time to rebuild.

That’s how I feel. And if Book knows Durant is being traded - he may want out

And Beal might waive his NTC or he might just want to play 2g and score a bunch as the only option

Instant rebuild start !

These last few years watching Ishbia and Jones trade off all our teams assets...

Return to Phoenix Suns
