If you go through all these pages, a lot of people here wait Beal to block the trade because a lot of us don’t see Butler moving the needle for this team.

This brings a little more clarity to the situation. As a Heat fan i’ve seen Butler do some pretty heroic things with a lot less than you guys have. I think he’s an absolute perfect fit between Durant and Booker. If he’s engaged he becomes superhuman in the playoffs hence the term “Playoff Jimmy”. Unfortunately our books can’t handle Beal’s contract hence why the team that can take it on needs to emerge and him needing to agree with that team to bring this to the finish line. Butler is also tight with Tyus Jones too btw

Suns can’t be choosy.
They are behind it

Take a good deal

Yes they can. It’s Kevin Durant, the offers will be there.

I'd love him if like this was happening with Bubble Butler. He's the perfect to have put with that Final team the we had a few years ago. Now though.....he's too old imo and doesn't fix our biggest issue-the massive hole at the 5.

Thinking like this is what led to Luka getting traded for AD lol.

Like your exact post is what Dallas's GM was likely thinking when he just took the 1st offer. Blonde is right. The Dubs offer is crap and we can do better. Have to talk to Houston first and foremost.

Give them Nurkic. That's addition by subtraction for us, believe that!

Richards looks to be doing very well filling that spot.

This was Butler’s FU game to our front office then things started to really spiral after this game. Butler keeps himself in insane shape. If he’s locked in and you get this Butler it’s going to be a hard trio to stop. Butler is a rabid dog that can change your team rather quickly if he likes where he’s at lol.

*Funny side note in this game is Butler was rocking his Phoenix Suns braids

A match made in heaven. Nurkic and Doncic two of the NBA's biggest whiners.

True

But the Durant offer of two years ago is not happening again so expectations are different

Im like 85-90% sure the Rockets do not care about Durant. The ages don't line up. Would they do KD for something like salary filler+Jalen Green? Sure, but you wouldnt get all our picks back (if any) /additional prospects like if it was Booker going to Houston.

But as I said before I also don't really like Kuminga or Podziemski. But also KD is 37 next season, so we shouldn't be expecting back a blue chip prospect and a boatload of picks.

It's probably the prudent move to wait to the offseason for trading Durant (and subsequently Booker), I agree. There's no reason not to. But we should set our expectations from other teams at around whatever the Warriors are actually offering and then pick the best one.

I think the offer I put forth is one the could happen. I disagree and think they'll give up our picks for KD as well

My god, man. Some of the stuff on the main board is so toxic I'm beginning to think I've been poisoned and just hallucinating.

Suns taking calls on Durant. Booker doesn't exactly look thrilled.

There will be some wild **** going down by the trade deadline.

Trade em all. Neither Booker with his empty stats, Durant with his garbage, and Beal with his....literally nothing memorable whatsoever matter at all to this franchise.

None of those players matter. They never have mattered.

Absolutely worthless roster. Mercenary garbage sucks. Boring, soulless crap. Keep Dunn and whatever two or three other new players and get rid of everyone else by the deadline for whatever the **** you can get.

Never wanna see those fools in Suns jerseys ever again.

Beal stays and gets his jersey retired if his NTC leads to us getting a haul this summer for Durant and Booker.

Butler has had an amazing career but at 35 he no longer has it and it is pure folly to max him out for another 3 years expecting him to recapture that magic he once had.

All the all time greats by the time they were 35 were for the most part washed and no longer in their prime, Hakeem, Barkley, Pippen , Shaq, Magic were all no longer players that you could build around as the main guy.

There are rare exceptions like LBJ but those are the exception and not the norm, even MJ's third comeback with the Wizards at 38 he was a shell of his former self and you just can't beat father time.

Return to Phoenix Suns
