Where? It's not on this OP. Got to make it clearer or draw it to people's attention when you change the rules in the middle of the game. Quote everyone at a minimum

Page 2.

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect people to read the thread.

That’s just me.

Every single post... lol

Yes it's unreasonable. Material changes were made to the draft. It needs to be better communicated.

I thought writing it here and in the sheets page should be enough. Next time I'll make a change like this I'll quote everyone as well

Thanks brother. No hard feelings but I kept the original rules handy copied and pasted into excel where I maintain my own draft sheet with notes. I appreciate you always stepping up to run these.

I am happy to nab Lopez. I dont think he is technically worth being the first pick of round three, but his value on my team is higher than his actual value as a player.

And no way he was making it back to me.

But he can guard the bigger players in this draft very well (shag, Howard, KAJ, Malone) and can stay out of the way letting Barkley and Dr J pick their defenders apart with no help from the opposing bigmen.

And if players do double down to help on Charles/DrJ they are both excellent at moving the ball (5 apg each) leaving Brook some wide open threes.

I think I can fill guard spots easier than a floor spacing center in this draft.

What would you have thought if I paired Luka with Booker? Even if I had elite defenders 3-5, would a Luka-Booker backcourt be too negative defensively?

I personally like Booker as a defender, especially in the playoffs, when he ratches up his focus on that end.

I dunno if you could have sold that. Booker was always paired with POA defenders when he had team success.

I love his fit with Stock on both ends.

Off topic, but I just wanna say that the Luka trade is hands down the most surprising trade I've seen since I started following the NBA. Possibly even in NBA history. The Mavs are complete and total idiots.

If you got the right forwards, it's at least as good as the finals team.

Had I known CP3 would fall I’d have taken Drexler or Reggie in round 2.

Still fairly happy with Stock and Booker backcourt though. It felt at the time that wings were deep in this draft. Which they were- Booker was a major round 3 target for me. I feel I could have done at tad better though.

Malone should thrive with these two playmakers though. The other player I strongly considered was Oscar, and it's hard to say I really regret not taking him given the backcourt I actually ended up with (neither of which would have slided particularly well alongside Oscar).

I mean it’s obviously 00-01.

But yeah you’ve got affordability issues.
