Dumb idea of the day, but with the new CBA apron rules I predict more teams will not match offer sheets in restricted free agency to avoid getting lumped into those higher aprons for guys that aren’t All Stars. For example, I’d be surprised if Golden State matched a sizable offer sheet to Kuminga, because that would really lock their roster into Steph, Jimmy, Kuminga, Draymond with practically no tools available to trade or tinker with the roster because of the hard limitations of the second apron.

That said, the league has seemingly been very “wink wink” about not signing guys to offer sheets (C’mon Austin Reaves) so my suggestion would be for the league to create compensatory picks much like the NFL, but limit awarding them to teams who are losing a player to a 20+ million dollar AAV contract. The picks would be distributed as 1st rounders given after the traditional 30th pick. Reward teams for drafting well.

14 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and a block after 1 quarter. Not too shabby.

Today's AD is the version people thought he was better than Giannis. Happy to see him play hard, dominate and smile

AD is a good guy and didn't ask for this. Hope he does well
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Max Christie doing amazing. I loved him and especially his brother Cam Christie on draft day. I posted to get them both in summer. Pedigree matters , like it or not.

AD already hurt in his debut after going nuclear in the 1st half

Looked like he was having a great game before he got hurt, too. Mavs really speedrunning the AD experience in one game.

Yeah I just don’t see it. Looks tiny out there. The Rockets were due for a big miss.
